  8. David Ortiz and Kevin Gregg will likely be serving reduced three-game suspensions starting Monday, according to the Boston Globe's Nick Cafardo. The Red Sox and Orioles start a three-game series at Camden Yards on Monday and the league office may want to remove Ortiz and Gregg from the equation entirely. Keep in mind Ortiz' and Gregg's situations when filling out your fantasy lineups for next week.
  9. I think damon can and should make the HOF if he hits 3,000
  10. David Ortiz believes that a decision from Major League Baseball on his appeal of a four-game suspension could be announced as soon as Sunday night. "I'll probably hear something later on tonight or tomorrow morning," he said. Ortiz was suspended four games for charging the mound at Orioles' closer Kevin Gregg, but he has remained in the lineup while his appeal was heard. The Red Sox and Orioles start a three-game series at Camden Yards on Monday, so the league office has some motivation to hand down a decision immediately.

  13. SI.com's Jon Heyman reports that the Rockies have asked the Yankees for catcher Jesus Montero, starter Ivan Nova and New York's top two pitching prospects — Manny Banuelos and Dellin Betances -- in return for Ubaldo Jimenez. Although Jimenez is a great piece, New York won't offer anything close to that. Jimenez is under team control through 2013 at a cheap price, but the Yankees won't give up the world for him. NBC's Matthew Pouliot suggests a realistic deal between the clubs could involve Montero, Betances and a lesser prospect.
