    Spring training record has little to no indicator on how we will perform in the season all it does is gives us glimpses on how our starters are going to preform. It is a good indicator to see how good of shape they are in and there swing. But spring training is more for pitchers and to see how well our prospects are progressing. No one actually thought that Kalish or Iglesias would make the team coming out of spring but it was great to see them play and for them to get some great exposure

    Seeing how the Red Sox are going to go into the season with; Rotation 1. Jon Lester 2. John Lackey 3. Clay Buchholz 4. Josh Beckett 5. Daisuke Matsuzaka Pen CL: Jonathan Papelbon SU: Daniel Bard SU: Bobby Jenks MR: Dan Wheeler LR: Tim Wakefield This leaves us with 2 spots among Hideki Okajima, Dennys Reyes, Andrew Miller and Rich Hill, Alfredo Aceves, Scott Atchision and Matt Albers I have not seen a lot of games this spring or have been able to follow it to closely but have only heard good things about Aceves which would leave us for a need for a lefty to go along with Wheeler. Any thoughts?

    Murphey is just very rusty it is almost good that big baby got hurt because he is able to get playing time. He is defiantly not in mid season form yet

    Yeah but i believe it will be overlooked more this year or atleast he will have more slack seeing how he has a history of starting off slow now like Texeria.

    Ortiz had a good game today 2-2 with a 3R jack, should have a great season since none of the pressure is on him and he will be hitting in the 5 hole
