Finally the site is back up.
Couple notes:
-Lackey started out rough and I thought it was going to be another one of those outburst outings. He settled down pretty nicely.
-Nice to see Mikey again, love that guy.
- Ellsbury flashing the power once again, it's too bad he's using HGH
- God damn DPs. We should have much more runs but whatever we're winning *so I can't really complain.
- Muddy Chicken is a f***ing boss. That is all. I like laser show better though
- Papelbon looked great tonight. Love having the 1,2 punch of Bard and Papelbon.
@Thunder- That wasn't my point smart ass. When we had that matchup everyone was like "Oh great Felix vs Wakefield we lost". We ended up winning that game even though they had the advantage and no one or mostly everyone thought we'd lose.
It's 3 a.m and I'm bored but bare with me. I was surfing the web and once again read headlines about the Sox and Phillies in the WS. Just to make myself clear this thread is not about a potential WS matchup between the Sox and Phillies. Just reading an article inspired me to make this thread.
Is this a cliche or not? Honestly, I don't think so but others may have a different opinion. You can look at the past ten years of the WS and pitching definetely has the advantage. Don't get me wrong pitching is not the only thing that's key to winning. Offense and fielding is very important too. I just think pitching gives you the upper hand. There's a lot of knowledge baseball fans on this site and I just want to hear your opinions on this.
Yankees should have won the series 3-1. They played in a stupid circus and Granderson can't make the easy flyball catch. I'm talking about the 2nd game btw. Boone Logan error kind of hurt too but 2 runs don't get scored had Granderson made that catch.
Making this game thread early because I get on pretty late and don't want a new poster to ruin the mojo.
Felix Hernandez vs John Lackey
Now I know you guys are thinking "oh great we lost" but Wakefield did beat Felix earlier this season and the Mariners are a big bag full of suck right now. They've lost 12 in a row. Hopefully they don't break the streak on us. Win!
The players, the city that they play for, the history, and loyal fans. I agree with B22407, the Red Sox are sort of like a stress reliever to me. I love this team so much I've begged my parents over and over again to take me to Fenway just one time.
Don't even try that ********. You came in here and accused Ellsbury of using HGH when no one said a thing about the Yankees before that. Don't get butthurt because we're talking about those pinstripe punks. You set yourself up and that's what you get for trying to stir s*** up.
Haha funny because I was suppose to go to this game. Only reason I didn't go is because I didn't want to pay to see Nolasco or watch the Pirates. They're getting wrecked.
