  1. Yeah I'd wait. If it means I don't have to watch this team get their teeth get kicked in every night, by all means, please take your time.
  2. New York Yankees, property of Mark Reynolds.
  3. If someone decides to make a gamethread make the title "9/7 vs Blue Jays: Can the season end already?" You could offer me the best seats in the house and I wouldn't go. This team is the epitome of f***ing failure.
  4. Hey guys don't worry, we're still in this!!
  5. That's what I'm thinking. We have like 6 more games against the O's and 3 vs the pigs. Whoop the Yankees ass and bend over for the O's. Then watch them get crushed in the playoffs first round.
  6. Not saying I don't want to see the Yankees in the post season, I'm saying that if they can't get the Yankees then stick it to the O's.
  7. If they don't take the Yankees out crush those bitch Orioles and knock them out of the playoffs. We didn't forget about last year *******s.
  8. Sex is a great way to get things off your mind, congrats.
  9. I'll save you a seat next to my couch, you'll love my TV.
  10. Not saying I wouldn't want Papelbon. My question was he overpaid and he damn sure was. 50 million for 4 years is ridiculous. How do you like the Phillies team? Edit: And his numbers aren't even all that this year. Oh please, lets all praise this guy and act like if he was here that this team would be in playoff contention. The starting rotation wouldn't even give him a chance to save us.
  11. ^Agreed. Has he not seen the Red Sox play lately?
  12. So you don't think he was overpaid?
  13. 2 options 1) Blow up Yankees stadium or 2) Hope the O's have a nice lead on the Yankees. Sweep the Yankees, let the O's kick our ass for 6 games, and have them win the AL East. Either one of them will crush Jacko's heart and that make me happy
  14. That Pete Rose record slipped by me. I feel like Jeter can do it because he still has somethig in him and can play in his 40's. I hope to god Pujols surpasses Bonds and A-Rod. I don't want any of them to have it.
  15. The other day I was looking at MLB records and some of them probably not going to be touched(Cy Young's 511 wins, DiMaggio's 56 game hitting streak, Ripken JR's most consecutive games 2,362, Nolan Ryan's career SO 5,714, etc) but there are some that I feel might be broken. Barry Bonds HR record - Although in my eyes the winner here is still Hank Aaron, sadly Bonds is listed as the HR king. The person I think catches him is A-Rod and has plenty of time to do it. See I hate both of them but I really dislike Bonds so I don't really know who I want to hold the title. Hopefully Pujols who I also think has a chance, surpasses both of them. Hank Aaron's XBH record(1,477) - A-Rod has a really good chance beat this one as well with 1,183 Cal Ripken GIDP(350)- Miguel Cabrera is only 29 and already has a good amount(190 in 10 seasons) Reggie's SO record(2,597) - Jim Thome has 2,534 SO, possibly Dunn who has 1,999 at age 32 What do you guys think? Any other records that you think a current player can break?
  16. I don't think anyone around here mentioned that he'd change the team around. Everyone just worshiped his defense but everyone ripped on his offense.
  17. *Sigh* I think it's time boys http://www.thecaptainsmemos.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/bagheadfire.jpg
  18. Papelbon got his ass lit up against the Braves.
  19. Boston Red Sox - (enter any mlb team here) bitch
  20. When it's against the Yankees
  21. No game thread mojo tomorrow
