    Texas needs to get to Burnett in this inning or its unlikely they pull this one off. Funny that Michael Jordan is sitting next to Indra Nooyi, the President & CEO of Pepsi. I'd like to be a fly on the cup holder in the seats between them during THAT conversation. Michael: So Indra, how's business? Indra: Oh, you know, Michael. Our business in India's skyrocketing, but only in the Western half of the country. The problem's the other 300 million living in the North and the East on less than $1.25 per day who couldn't afford a can of Pepsi unless they saved up for it for weeks.     This is exactly the right balance of Patriots to have. Talented, proven veterans--real leaders. Raw yet hungry and versatile youngsters eager to prove themselves. Just steady players across the board, and play calling that appears to be trying to utilize each player for what he can bring to the table week in and week out. The defense's evolution throughout the course of the game, and stopping the run, was what I found the most exciting and encouraging, in addition to seeing Deion Branch come home again, and what's more, truly relish and savor and appreciate the opportunity as evidenced in his bear hug with Belichick after the game and even moreso during his post-game presser. We'd better buckle our seatbelts, because this Patriots team is about to take us on one hell of a ride. Good-bye and good luck, Randy Moss. Welcome home, Champion. Welcome home Deion.

    Speaking of Lee, any chance that a team other than the Yankees signs him this off-season? (I didn't think so, I was just hoping someone would tell me something that I want to hear.) A Sabathia/Lee tandem at the top of the Yanks' rotation next year is such a scary freaking thought. (I love me some Lester/Buchholz/Beckett, but Sabathia/Lee is just sick. Any chance we can create a package that would yield us King Felix from Seattle while also picking up bullpen help?)
