  1. Before I make my pick, I just want to confirm what salary we are using Is it Cots or ESPN?

  3. I know the Scalabrine thing is a joke, but that made me think about different athletes playing a different sport. And I honestly think that if LeBron James played football that he would be a top 10 receiver in the league hands down, and there are many other cases of athletes in basketball and other sports who might dominate in the NFL
  4. I think defense was largely regarded in both of the last two redrafts I don't know exactly what you mean by intangibles, and injuries in these redrafts are weird to deal with because they usually don't have a set timeframe, and do you mean long term or short term injury and anyways, there's just a lot of confusion with that aspect But really, just because you think that a couple of teams weren't as highly ranked as you regarded them does not mean that those teams were shafted. A ton of these matchups were really close and there really is no correct answer, as anything can happen in sports
  5. y228
  6. Could you guys post clubhouses?
  7. Ital, I have to disagree that this would become like a fantasy team A fantasy team does not have to have relievers of specific positions, just closers for saves A fantasy team just analyzes stats, not defense, nothing like that A salary cap would be interesting, but it would have to be high, since the average MLB payroll is getting close to $90 million I think, and we will have about half the teams (if not less) as the actual MLB, so any salary cap below $100 million would be really hard to reach, I mean even $100 mil would be tough
  8. A couple things on this thread I disagree with. I don't think Brady will be better than Rodgers in 3 years...Rodgers hasn't won as many big games because he hasn't played in close to as many big games And Dan Koppen as the 2nd best center in the league? I don't think he's stopping Ratliff That aside, I think that y228 has the only secondary with the real ability to stop Kilo's dirty 1-2 of White/Colston, and that he can still contend with 5 spread, especially because he has an excellent pass rush and Kilo's O-line really isn't all that impressive On offense, y228 has no stars but a lot of talented players, and Kilo's pass rush will be pretty weak other than Ngata in the middle. I don't think he will put up a ton of points, but enough to win I like y228 17-14
  9. I'm voting, but this always ends up being a problem in redrafts
  10. I like ital's team here as well. With Peyton Manning and all of the weapons around him, he will dominate. I also like his offensive line, and WB's pass rush isn't all that impressive, even though his secondary is very good. In addition, ital has a great blocking RB and TE, so Manning will have all day, and ital easily has the best 1-2-3 in the league...I mean Steve Smith as a #3 receiver is pretty sick WB will also put up points on ital, but ital has a more dangerous pass rush, and IMO will be able to stop WB's run game fairly effectively, forcing him to air it out
  11. I like y228 here. WR's, RB's, O-Line, D-Line are all a push. y228 has a slightly better linebacker core and YH213 has an edge in the secondary. For me the tiebreaker is Aaron Rodgers
  12. Yeah, I've noticed that you and Kilo seem to have a rather similar mindset in both the basketball and football redrafts
  13. Wait...I messed some things up, let me redo that, disregard my post
  14. I mixed some things up, NVM
  15. I also think that the game will be a shootout, but unlike some others I don't think that WB really has a better defense. Revis is a beast, but jbay has a lot of underrated pieces in his secondary and his linebackers. Both teams are going to get some pressure, and both teams have excellent offensive lines. What it comes down to me is how they are going to get their points. jbay44 has four tall fast receivers, and I really don't think it is possible for a defense of nearly any caliber to stop that. Even if Revis shuts down Austin, Mike Wallace can outrun anyone on the field, and Britt and Williams are tall explosive targets. I also like jbay's PR/KR better and Tim Tebow off the bench in three years could run some interest play types that would make his team even more dangerous I vote jbay44
  16. Ital, his explanation sums up the bulk of my opinion. Ital has a stacked offense, QB, receivers, running backs, and most importantly, his offensive line is stacked. CoCo has a decent front 7, but he won't be able to bring much pressure and Peyton Manning is a beast Ital's defense can be a liability, but if the game turns into a shootout ital will win
  17. While I understand that my linebackers may not be the best in pass coverage, they will stop the running game and get to the quarterback, and I don't think Kilo's offensive line is good enough to give Brady enough time to get the ball to Colston and White. Although they are a dangerous 1-2, I don't see any of my CB or safeties declining, as they all are relatively young, and I think that Otogwe and Branch are really underrated On offense, while Kilo has Ngata in the middle and great linebackers, Arian Foster and Adrian Peterson put up yards on a consistent basis, in the middle and on the outside, regardless of the defense they are facing. They will beat up the defense and then Orton has four tall and speedy targets to run deep and run slants all over Kilo's secondary
  18. Can somebody make a list of all teams in this so far?
  19. WB has the toughest QB in the league with some dirty wide receivers and one of the best offensive lines in the league. Not to mention that his secondary is pretty filthy I think he wins in a blowout, as he has one of the best teams in the league
  20. Yeah, my main thing is ital creating the drafting thread so he can update it regularly, because otherwise we always have slower updating of the drafting thread
  21. I'm in, and I agree that ital should be commish. He is the quickest and best at editing things and has been in enough of these to run the playoffs in an effective manner
  22. I don't mean to be a jerk, but I have to agree with Dipre here, Suns consistently gets bad seeds, and consistently complains about them
  23. Your teams have sucked in both of these leagues...the only one who has gotten screwed in any of the leagues we have done so far is ital not making the finals in the baseball league
  24. In my past posts I've already stated my reason for Kilo's team, his offense is really good, from quarterback to his receivers, and I think his front seven is pretty dominant as well
