The starting lineups almost even out in this one. I think Josh Smith dominates an older Dirk Nowitzki, Bogut will play good defense on Griffin, though Griffin is dangerous against him due to his handles, but Bogut dominates him offensively and on the boards. LeBron is LeBron, and ital has a better starting frontcourt with Wade and Rondo, Rondo will use his height over a short Collison to dominate him on both ends of the floor. What it really comes down to is bench. WB easily has the best bench in this whole thing. If his bench were starting in the NBA, it would probably be an above .500 team. Hickson and Millsap are going to be all-star players in 3 years, and Harris is an above average PG in the league. Evan Turner is going to be a star, and Casspi will be a reputable role player. Hibbert and Odom is a great backup frontcourt, and I think Hibbert uses his height on Hickson to win the boards, but Hickson is explosive and will still find ways to score on him. Millsap in 3 years will be a better player than Oden on both ends of the floor IMO. Wes Johnson vs Casspi is a wash, and Henry and Lawson might be good scorers, but Turner and Harris are significantly better. One could argue that ital would win on size, but I think WB wins to a much better defensive team and a better all around bench.

I honestly think the Heat - Celtics is the worst way to look at this. If you look at it like that... Perkins > s*** KG = Bosh Pierce Allen Rondo > Arroyo Celtics Bench >>> Heat Bench Honestly, I don't like the method much either, but it's better than nobody voting, and significantly better than the MLB Redraft. Half of the MLB Redraft votes were something along the lines of... ________ has a better team or... ________ because he has Ubaldo Jimenez like seriously, I almost lost to Suns because of retarded voting like that And honestly, these two teams (ital and jbay44) are WAY too close for there to be a bad vote. In a future NBA Redraft, I'd like to have 20 teams, because otherwise the NBA is way too deep in depth for there to be clear differences between teams

This is a close matchup for sure. Ital has better guards, because although Nash/Jennings is a dynamic duo, Rondo is good enough that a 40 year Nash and a probably still relatively raw dynamic scorer shouldn't be trouble for him on the defensive end, on the boards, or with passing. Mayo is going to be a star in 3 years, but D-Wade will still outscore him for sure. Gerald Wallace will shut down Rudy Gay, and will be sure to grab his fair share of boards as well. I feel the same will happen for Jeff Green over Wesley Johnson. Dirk Nowitzki in the present is better than Carlos Boozer, but 3 years from now I think Boozer will have a step on Nowitzki and will have improved his defensive game enough to be the better defender. Nowitzki's shooting will be key though, as Boozer will probably foul him a lot and that will end up being a lot of FT points. Odom is good, but is aging like Nowitzki, and Ibaka is a great shutdown defender/rebounder who I believe will shut down Odom in 3 years. Dwight Howard and Kendrick Perkins are monsters on the boards and defensive ends, and will dominate Blake Griffin on both ends of the floor. Hibbert and Perkins are very similar types of players, so the X-Factor here is Dwight Howard. Unless Griffin seriously improves his defense in the next 3 years, he will be dominated by Howard. Ital has a lot more explosive scorers, but jbay44 has one of the best defenses in the whole thing, with the obvious exception of Steve Nash. It's really close, but I like jbay44's team here slightly over ital's team due to his team being more balanced and better defensively, and I really like his backup big men (Perkins and Ibaka) shutting down ital's frontcourt.

I don't get the purpose of 6 big men...only two can be on the court at the time and only 3 or 4 will actually play big minutes. Big Z and Gortat are probably going to play like 5 minutes a game apiece Anyways, I completely disagree with the idea that Horford is better than Bogut, Bogut is the 2nd best center in the NBA, and is significantly better on the defensive end. Josh Smith and JJ Hickson will shut Gasol down enough, I don't even think Kilo has better big men to be honest, I would take WB's over his Caron Butler is not good defensively. Carl Landry is a PF who does not have nearly the athleticism to handle LeBron. LeBron is putting up 30 a night on this team in a 7 game series John Wall is the best guard on either team 3 years from now, but Collison is dynamic on the offensive end and Harris is great on both ends of the floor, he's much better than Felton IMO. Ginobili complements Collison's explosiveness well with his great shooting and D, and Evan Turner is going to be a star. WB's team and honestly, I don't think it is close This whole team chemistry thing IMO is basically saying, yeah, you have the better team, but I somehow know that my players are going to mesh together better. It is IMPOSSIBLE to predict chemistry without actually seeing this happen in person. I vote for WB

Honestly, I don't think getting rid of the injury rule would make much of a difference because people are not thinking too highly in Yao Ming, like WB even suggested starting Gasol over him. Before his injury problems, a lot of people considered him the 2nd best center in the league Anyways, Kilo advances

Guards: John Wall is quickly developing into a star, but Chris Paul is the best PG in the NBA and is 25, so three years from now although Wall will have developed, so will have CP3. Basically, Wall is like CP3 right now except Wall does not have the jumper of CP3 and turns the ball over more often. Raymond Felton and Jrue Holiday are similar in the passing game, and while Felton takes more shots, their shot percentages are similar, and Felton thrives in the fast NY system. I also think Holiday will be better than Felton in three years, as Holiday is only 20. Anthony Morrow is a great 3 point shooter, but honestly what else does he do? He's not great at driving to the hoop, or passing, or playing defense. Brandon Roy is a better passer, rebounder, and defensive player, and I think he can dominate both ends of the floor when they are 1 on 1. Redick and Harden are also mainly shooters who don't do much else, and Afflafo is a nice shutdown defender, but he isn't anything to brag about on the offensive ends. Basically, I think I have the better starting defensive players, and the backups have similar skillsets. I think CP3 and Roy can compliment well in the backcourt, because CP3 is a pass-first mentality PG and Roy is a shoot-first mentality SG, and both are at least above average on defense (I think CP3 is an elite defensive PG, feel free to disagree with me). While I think Wall and Morrow will also compliment well, Morrow is a pretty one dimensional player, and that will hinder their progress as Wall develops. Caron Butler again, is a good shooter, and his defensive ability is alright, but Iguodala is a shutdown defender, and is extremely athletic. He also has superior passing and rebounding abilities to Butler, and I think he can shut him down on the defensive end. Carl Landry will not have the quickness to cover Chandler effectively, and Chandler is strong on the defensive end, he puts up blocks, and he will thrive against Landry, who has no perimeter shot and will have to depend on the short jumpers and post up, which will also crowd the paint for Kilo's team Kilo is stacked at big man, but Harrington and Gortat are going to play, what, 4 or 5 minutes a game with the people in front of them? So they really aren't going to be much of a factor. Gasol is great on both ends of the floor, though more-so on the offensive end, he just dominated the defensive end as well in the playoffs. Favors is a risk, but I think that when Gasol is older and not as quick, Favors can use that to his advantage on the offensive end. Also, Scola is already a star in this league, he can put up 20/10 starting, and while he is nothing to brag about on the defensive end, he is not bad by any means there either. He plays a similar game to David West, both are good shooters and rebounders. Gasol is going to dominate Favors if they were to play right now, but three years from now it may be a different situation. Al Horford is developing into a star, but going up against Yao Ming not assuming injury, Ming has 8 inches on him, and Ming also has a solid mid range jumper, better rebounding and blocking abilities, so all Horford has on him is quickness. CP3 will be able to get the ball to Ming in favorable situations due to his height as well. Gasol is almost as good as Horford already, he is great at posting up and has a solid mid range jumper, he is also 7-1 and is very tough, and I think he will be close to as good as his brother in three years, and will dominate an old Ilgauskas. Overall, I think my team meshes together well because I have a lot of well rounded players who play generally well on the defensive end, and I have my clear #1 passer, #1 shooter, #1 perimeter defender, and #1 downlow defender, all who excel at what they do (CP3, Roy, Iggy, and Ming respectively). While I like the team Kilo has built together, I feel that his perimeter players are too one dimensional (Carl Landry being the exception, but he is not a perimeter player, he should be a PF) - and as a result he will have to rely too much on Wall and Gasol to make plays, while my team has more options for making plays.

Wade isn't too shabby on defense. Griffin isn't either and neither is Hibbert or Odom And on your defense giving his offense fits, I honestly don't see it. Chandler, Aldridge, and Granger are not that great on defense. DeRozan is primarily a shooter, Westbrook is decent on D. Varajao off the bench is good on D, but is the rest of the bench really that impressive on D? Lee is alright, Bargnani isn't anything to brag about...I mean I honestly think ital has a better team on both ends of the floor. I do like your team, and I think a game between these teams would certainly go to 6 or 7 games, but I don't really agree with what you are saying. Also, in a redraft it is almost impossible to know how two players would work together without actually seeing it. You can see how different skill sets mesh, but you can't see actual chemistry. As a result, you have to base this more off of skill.

Center: Dwight Howard is the best center in the game and Perkins is a great up and coming star who 3 years from now will easily be a top 10 center. Chris Kaman is good, but 3 years from now he won't be much better than Perkins, if even, and Oden hasn't proved anything in his time in the league. Center to jbay44 in a landslide PF: Bosh and Boozer are very similar players in style, both are great on offense and the boards and not so much on D, though Bosh is probably the better of the two. However, Serge Ibaka is one of the best defensive players in the league, he would probably play great D on Bosh, Blair is alright, I'll say PF is a push SF: Joe Johnson is undersized as a small forward, and will be absolutely outmatched by Gerald Wallace, who is extremely athletic and has ridiculous length over JJ. Jeff Green and Al Thornton are both pretty good, but I like jbay44 at SF SG: Stephen Curry is athletic but sort of one dimensional, and I think Mayo will develop into a better play. Neither Tony Allen nor Wesley Matthews will play a big role. I like jbay44 at SG PG: Derrick Rose is great, but Steve Nash three years from now will still be almost as good, neither of them are great defensively and both can score and pass, and Nash is a great veteran leader. Then Brandon Jennings is going to be a great asset 3 years from now, and will dominate Jared Jeffries, who is a PF/C and as a result has no jumper or handles, and will not be able to keep up with Jennings. jbay44 at PG Overall, I like jbay44's team at basically every position and I pick him to win this matchup

I love ital's frontcourt over YH's, Nowitzki will dominate Aldridge on the offensive end, and Griffin is going to be one of the best big men in the game in a few years, though he will have a size disadvantage on Chandler. I like Odom and Hibbert a lot off the bench too, Bargnani and Varajao are good for sure, but I still think Odom and Hibbert are better Granger is better than Gay for sure, but Wesley Johnson is a good up and coming player.
