  1. I think you meant to say best 1B in MLB, or best player in MLB 3-2 jbay44, next vote for him wins it for him
  2. Well, you could but you still would be eliminated from the playoffs...
  3. Alright, it's 3-3 now Divinity and robiforMVP have not yet voted And maybe because Ubaldo has sucked in the 2nd half But I already won 4-2 so its not a big deal
  4. You can do either position by position or just as a whole
  5. Suns, you are an absolute clueless retard if you think Michael Young is better than Evan Longoria EVERYBODY in the world should agree with me on that And the thing is, you fail to statistically back up a single thing you say
  6. well, one of them needs one more vote to advance to the semis (whiskeybreath votes himself and jasonbay44 votes himself)
  7. Thanks for the input, I'd love to let you vote, but I can't considering that the rules only allow people in the league to vote
  8. Anyways, once some more people vote in the #4 vs #5 we can move to the semifinals
  9. 1. Dustin Pedroia > McCutchen 2. Troy Tulowitzki > Swisher 3. Ryan Braun > Kinsler 4. Mark Teixeira 5. Justin Upton 6. Kendry Morales push Markakis 7. Scott Rolen > Olivo 8. Colby Rasmus push Polanco 9. Yadier Molina Another tie...great well, from my last breakdown, I honestly think Olivo is better than Molina, I'll give the advantage to jbay44, the hitting is extremely close and I like his rotation much better
  10. Yeah, good point, I don't know how I'd fit him into the bullpen though, I mean an extra arm in the pen always helps, some teams carry 7 men in the pen, I guess I'll put him there as a 7th reliever But I don't get how Wieters is better than Buck, he's better known, but he hasn't lived up to his hype at all And I don't get how Suns has a better lineup or bullpen, or how rotation is tied
  11. Where are these numbers coming from?
  12. Kearns doesn't even start on his team, he sucks, Wieters is batting .241 this year, But is batting .277 with double the amount of homers
  13. Soriano is a hazard on defense, and is completely one sided, Bay doesn't have a lot of HR, but hits a lot of doubles in roomy Citi Field and was much better than Soriano last year...I'll give you a push on that And McGahee has 18 HR...Asdrubal has not hit this year at all...
  14. C - Yadier Molina push Miguel Olivo 1B - Mark Teixeira (S) 2B - Dustin Pedroia > Ian Kinsler 3B - Scott Rolen > Placido Polanco SS - Troy Tulowitzki > Marco Scutaro RF - Justin Upton CF - Colby Rasmus (L) LF - Ryan Braun > Nick Markakis DH - Kendry Morales (S) > Nick Swisher 5-3 1. Tim Lincecum 2. Dan Haren 3. Francisco Liriano (L) 4. Tommy Hanson push Shaun Marcum 5. Cole Hamels (L) > Anibal 6-7 LR - Wandy Rodriguez MR - Jonny Venters (L) > Kyle McClellan MR - Leo Nunez SU - Rafael Soriano push Matt Thornton SU - Luke Gregerson CL - Mariano Rivera > Jon Broxton 8-10 Winner of bench takes 2 points UTIL - Chone Figgins (S) > Pedro Alvarez 3B - Mark Reynolds > Erick Aybar CF - Jacoby Ellsbury > Andres Torres C - Buster Posey > Jose Molina CF - Franklin Gutierrez > Omar Infante Making the matchup 10-10...hmm...what to do here...I'll compare lineups I suppose
  15. You're an idiot, I won by so much benches wouldn't matter, and fine, just to make you happy Jason Bay OF > Soriano John Buck C > Wieters Casey McGahee Util > Cabrera Luke Scott 1B, OF >> Peralta Matt Guerrier RP can't compare with Austin Kearns Soriano sucks now, Cabrera sucks, Peralta sucks, Wieters hasn't proved he can his MLB pitching well, and Kearns is on the bench
  16. I agree about the benches, but I don't think they should value in a lot
  17. Peoria Distillers C - Yadier Molina 1B - Mark Teixeira (S) 2B - Dustin Pedroia 3B - Scott Rolen SS - Troy Tulowitzki RF - Justin Upton CF - Colby Rasmus (L) LF - Ryan Braun DH - Kendry Morales (S) Bench UTIL - Chone Figgins (S) 3B - Mark Reynolds CF - Jacoby Ellsbury C - Buster Posey CF - Franklin Gutierrez Lineup 1. Clayton Kershaw 4. Shaun Marcum 5. Anibal Sanchez Bullpen LR: CJ Wilson MR: Kyle McClellan MR: Darren O'Day SU: Matt Thornton SU Daniel Bard CL Jonathan Broxton Message from whiskeybreath, who will not be on until Monday and votes himself: I feel like my team can beat jasonbay44 for many reasons. First of all I think my starting pitching is better. Starters 1-3 are pretty even, although I give the edge to my #3 man Liriano. Kershaw is young and walks a lot of hitters. #4-5 startes is a clear advantage for my squad. I also think I have a better pen. I have the best closer in the game with very strong setup men. He has a pretty good offense but lacks a ton of pop after Pujols and Werth. My offense 1-8 does it all with a very solid catcher in Yadier Molina hitting 9th. I also think his lineup could be ordered better. To end it, I think I have the superior defense and bench. His defense is very good, I'm a fan of it but where I think I win out is in the infield. The End, lol sorry if that was long. I've had a few drinks and im out to log off. Be back monday nite.
  18. haha I would put you above him too
  19. Well, you could've been the 6 seed, but there were 5 teams clearly better than yours And you only addressed 2 of the 10+ clear bias mistakes you made And Verlander's ERA has never been below 3, Price's is, last year he was still developing, if you average last year and this he's still better than verlander, who is extremely inconsistent start to start And last year Latos didn't even pitch a full season, everything I've seen about him on ESPN thinks he's the real deal, Weaver is good too, but Latos has been better Anyways, these weren't the worst. The Carlos Gonzalez and Evan Longoria ones were extremely stupid
  20. Look at some stats buddy Wainwright * W-L 17-6 * ERA 1.99 * K 158 * Walks 42 * WHIP 0.97 Jimenez * W-L 17-3 * ERA 2.55 * K 143 * Walks 64 * WHIP 1.11 Wainwright owns everything other than losses, mainly because Jimenez gets a ton of run support
  21. Suns, have you been doing too much DOPE? 3B Evan Longoria SS Alexei Ramirez LF Carlos Gonzalez DH Paul Konerko 1. Adam Wainwright 2. David Price 3. Mat Latos 4. John Danks push Ricky Nolasco Nolasco sucks 5. Tim Hudson SU Hong Chi Kuo CL Andrew Bailey So, based on all the clear mistakes Suns has made, one can conclude that he is both extremely biased, and has been lighting it up

Javier Vazquez LR Kris Melden > Wil Ledezma MR Dan Wheeler push Jason Motte MR Ryan Franklin push Jason Frasor SU Brian Fuentes SU Brian Wilson > Brad Ziegler CL Francisco Rodriguez push Jon Papelbon 11-5 divinity wins The pitching was close, arguably bsox had the better pitching in fact, but divinity's lineup was much better than bsox's
