  1. I know, it is early in the season and this usually wouldn't be a concern if it was just one game or maybe even two, but 4 games in, we haven't had one game where the bullpen hasn't given up 1 run, this includes games with are closer and top set up men blowing leads. The stats don't lie: each relief pitchers respective stats: Ramon Ramirez - 0.1 innings, 2 earned runs, 54.00 ERA Jonathan Papelbon - 2.1 innings, 2 runs, 7.71 ERA Scott Schoeneweis - 1.2 innings, 1 run, 5.40 ERA Hideki Okajima - 1 inning, 1 run, 4.50 era Daniel Bard - 4 innings, 1 earned run, 2.25 ERA... However he has given up 2 hits and 3 walks in those 4 innings. Scott Atchison - 2 innings, 1 run, 4.50 ERA Manny Delcarmen - 1 inning, 0 runs, 0.00 ERA Combined In 11.2 innings bullpen has allowed 9 runs. Should we be worried or just count it as early season struggles due to not being in the zone or not being used to the season yet or something like that?
  2. Wizards suck LOL. Cousins will probably go to the Jazz.
  3. Vasquez sucks LOL. Have fun with him NYY.
  4. Who cares, meaningless record.
  5. Because he had one bad game you hate him? Typical.
  6. Angels are 1-4, A's are 4-1. Wow.
  7. Rays are very scary team, if the rotation succeeds, watch out. David Price is the key to me, the Rays success will depend on how he does as the #3.
  8. Great call on Vasquez prediction so far.
  9. Doesn't really matter much though, who cares how much it costs as long as the team wins. Im sure no one cares that the mariners were most efficient, they won zero championships and thats what matters.
  10. Maybe the ejection gives him a little "EXTRA" motivation and he gets going?
  11. Price definitely looked good tonight the rays scare me a lot.
  12. New Wakefield? The old Wakefield is still here. (No pun intended).
  13. How about Joe West shuts the f*** up and does the job he is paid to do? If he doesn't want to do it, id love to watch baseball and call games AND GET PAID TO DO IT. Shut up you fat f*** and control your chin problem, its not normal to have more then a Chinese phone book.
  14. Another bat would be nice and is probably a must if Ortiz continues to struggle.
  15. Of course the one guy who can actually hit Greinke will likely sit due to Francona wanting Jason Varitek to get AB's!!!!!! Anyway happy birthday msubulldogs21, have a good one. A few other things, to win this game we are going to need Beckett to pitch like an ace, the offense probably wont do anything (Not dissing the offense, they are just facing one of elite pitchers in the game, right now in Zack Greinke), if we even have a chance of winning this game. If Beckett gives up 1 or 2 runs we could possibly lose this game, especially with our bullpen. In fact, my next point, what the mother f*** is wrong with the bullpen? Papelbon has looked shaky thus far this year. Daniel Bard is looking horrible and makes me cringe at the thoughts of even trading Papelbon and having him as the closer. And God, I think Francona needs to control his hard on for Okajima, he CANT PITCH EVERYDAY. He has been struggling lately, yet he continues to throw him out there in close games. Another thing is, why the hell have Schoenweis and Atchison been pitching in meaningful games? (not tonight obviously but in yankee series). We have Ramon Ramirez who has only been used one this year and was one of our better relievers last year, WTF... Go Sox, hopefully they are able to score some runs off Greinke and hopefully Beckett has a shut down game and the bullpen could actually pitch well for once this season.
