They should give Atchison a middle relief role. Use the same strategic deployed Sunday, if the 7th inning has the top/middle order up, send Bard out to shut them down. Then the 8th will have the bottom up. This is the best option till they have someone else who will boot Delcarmen, Okajima or Ramirez off the team.

You can't send Delcarmen down without him clearing waiver or placing him on disabled. Yes I agree Okajima time is up. He has nothing left to contribute. We'll save $4M this off season with him gone.

He could gone the 6th if his pitch count didn't run up in the first and the Scoot error. Though he was at around 100 pitch he could gone back out there.
