From ACTUALLY watching Swihart hit, he makes contact and hits liners, unlike Salty.

Buchholz is somebody that cannot be depend on. He went a month without pitching. This rotation was sketchy at the end, Wright, Pomegranate and Eddie are not trustworthy as #3s for me. The first two just came out of nowhere and never thrown that much innings, ditto with Eddie. Sale is a top 3 starter, I'll gladly have that for Kopech and company for the next 3 year. Kopech might not even make his debut in that time.

Parting with Kopech was hard, but Sale more than make up for it. Having 3 front rotation starters in the rotation is a great thing.

Pom and Erod are not depth. They are behind our front three. I forgotten Wright, he might be better suited as a long man.

That's a scary thought. This entire bullpen is really making me feel like puking, especially Kimbrel's spectacular meltdown at times. When Owens/Johnson are your only depth, you gotta consider Kelly returning in case. The big 3 I hold a lot of trust, the POM and EROD I do not. It's a dog fight in the east.

Kelly could still start right in case they need somebody. I don't want to see Owens pitching again.

So they took the risk picking up his option only to dump him for a non prospect. Lucky somebody even wants to take that on.
