  1. What does money have to do with it? I'm sure there are hundreds of minor league/college coaches with significant talent that could handle this team better. When the majority of this team is putting up career worsts, and when this many bad coaching moves are made, it stands out.
  2. 5/11 Good- A-gon Bad-- Salty continues to hurt this team on both sides of the ball. 0-3 with 2 strikeouts and a double play. He also allowed 3 steals. Ugly-- I wasn't completely serious when I said Francona was a bad manager before. Now? Every Sox fan should seriously start considering what he actually contributes to this team. When Fuld/Zobrist are significantly outplaying Crawford/Pedroia, it makes me ask-- what are other coaches doing that Tito isn't?
  3. That's not it. It is how he handles players. Keeping Crawford in the 8th hole while Pedroia goes 0fer. Giving Wakefield the ball in crucial situations out of loyalty, while Aceves, Atchison and Hill sat in AAA. He clearly cannot tell when a starter is getting tired, and especially cannot tell when starters simply don't have anything. When you're 6 games back in May, he needs to show a little f***ing emotion out there. Don't even get me started on the Scutaro decision in pre-season.
  4. It is time for a regime change. It isn't 2004 anymore. There are some people in this organization that are killing the team. Wakefield, Bogar, Saltalamacchia, Francona. These guys singlehandedly kill any momentum this team can get. Lackey goes to the bullpen as a mop-up guy until he's ready to pitch like a major leaguer, and is replaced in the rotation by Aceves.
  5. I think you and I disagree on the meaning of the term "to his credit"
  6. Celtics are done, Red Sox are done. Time to go to my one true passion in life: pictures of attractive women.
  7. He isn't even watching the game.
  8. Lackey at 94 pitches... he's going back out for the 7th...
  9. South Park has been comedy central's cash cow for decades. Have you noticed how they always put the shows they want to push directly after it on Wednesdays?
  10. You do realize if Lackey gets DLed, Wakefield is the one getting starts, right?
  11. Speaking of ugly...
  12. I feel like I'm ALWAYS on Talksox, and I'm only at 7ish haha.
  13. Woaaaaah, how does he have 1000 posts in 20 days?
  14. Wow, they're really pushing Rondo's bad arm.
  15. two in scoring position, bautista at the plate, 0 outs. Great. Back to the NBA.
  16. Wow, good AB for Salty. That's what, 7-8 pitches so far?
  17. Yankees Lackey! Yankees Lackey! Hmm.... doesn't work in that specific one. I bet it will pick up speed on TS if a few people use it.
  18. Right, but besides C, are there any defenders on the field that are average or below at their position?
  19. 14 pitches and Lackey puts up a scoreless inning, despite his own error. I'd love to see 4 more innings with similar results.
  20. Wow, is it just me, or is the defense insane right now?
