If that is a stone-cold "this WILL get it done" package, then yes. My point was if the Yanks could negotiate out any one of those guys, it would definitely be worth it.

Honestly, I think its the most interesting division right now. Milwaukee has a really good team right now... but at the same time I'd be thrilled to see Pittsburgh turn their franchise around.

That's all they want for Jimeniz? Pfft, if I were them I'd negotiate to take out one of those players from the deal, and then pull the trigger. Just putting it out there-- for the next 3.5 years, this guy will cost 19 million dollars, and if anything happens to him, those are all club options so he's very easily dumped.

Right. So to go with probability, the odds of five players being struck by lightning on the same day are.... 7.77x10^28 to 1. And then on top of that, all five of them were served contaminated deer musk. Its a bad joke, and I hope their team get serious consequences, not so much because they cheated, but because they spew that blatant of a ridiculous lie to try to cover it up.

Did anyone hear about the North Koreans? They had five players found to be using steroids, and their excuse was that it was accidentally put into deer musk that they were using as oriental medicine in order to cure wounds caused by getting hit by lightning. Why not just go with my personal favorite "A wizard did it"?

Who are you counting as the 5th? The Sox want to keep Aceves in the pen, give Doubront a few more starts in AAA, and Weiland isn't ready yet either.

He's the most optimistic poster on here. But then again, if you predict the Sox will win every game, you'll be right more often than not.

Drew not only kills the rally, he misplays a ball in the OF in the 9th. What a guy. Meanwhile, no-name Matt Joyce hits a home run after hurting his knee, stays in the game and absolutely hustles to first base despite his team being down five runs. What a contrast.

Pedroia is on a pace for 25 home runs as well! The most he has ever hit in a season was 17.
