  1. Losing Ellsbury for the playoffs could hurt. But a few weeks? It could be an opportunity to check out Bradley and see what the kid has.
  2. Yankees suck! Yankees suck! Yankees suck! Yankees suck!
  3. "This game isn't over yet" Mike Napoli
  4. "This game isn't over yet" Will Middlebrooks.
  5. This guy looks like he partied too hard last night.
  6. I've been saying it a lot, but being able to replace Salty's .540 OPS against lefties with Ross is going to be crucial in the playoffs.
  7. In all fairness, you've spent considerable amount of time rating the FO. Just admit it, the guy sure has some knockers.
  8. Dude, you're going to get the nickname Suns II if you keep this up
  9. Victorino!!! 4-2 lead. Hopefully Peavy can hold it.
  10. This team has been without WMB and Buchholz for most of the year. The Sox are going to be scary good down the stretch if those guys play to their potential.
  11. 47 pitch inning. When was the last time anyone saw that?
  12. Anyone else surprised that this guy had a 2.80 ERA prior to the game? He's having trouble getting out of the third inning.
  13. 32 pitches in this inning so far, and Nava is up. Nova's arm must feel like falling off.
  14. As a Red Sox, Ortiz's slash line is .292/.390/.572/.962. 9 All-star games, 5 Silver Sluggers (not including his inevitable 2013 win), five top 5 MVP finishes, two World Series rings, and a member of the 50 home run club. He has been the face of the franchise, he's played 11 years here so far, won a Roberto Clemente award, and he ain't done yet. Unless something happens to his reputation, he should be a lock.
  15. Most no-hitters caught. Hmm, can't think of any others.
  16. You left out Buchholz.
  17. Here is the rest of Detroit's schedule: 3 vs KC 3 vs White Sox 3 vs KC 4 vs Seattle 3 vs White Sox 3 vs Minnesota 3 vs Miami Cakewalk.
  18. Oh, and there are still 0 outs. Hahhahaha
  19. After a huge hit from Middlebrooks last night, and a grand slam tonight... Is he back?
  20. I think we all need to take a step back and view Dempster as a guy who fills Wakefield's old role on this team. A very likeable, experienced veteran, who pitches some good games, some bad. When Buch comes back he'll be heading to the bullpen -- it makes the most sense because of how many lefties they have already.
  21. You know what is worse? Most of the guys who accepted bans will be back for the playoffs...
  22. Hold on, hit F5 haha.
  23. Three strikeout inning for Dempster! Niiice.
  24. Uehara's year deserves CY Young consideration. He won't win it obviously, but if he keeps this up, he'll have one of the all time best seasons among relievers. Put in perspective, 2013 Koji is better than ANY YEAR Rivera.
