Napoli did hit 2 homers and 3 2B in the Detroit series... it just happens to be the problem of having your best two hitters trying to share a position.
I can't fathom why Farrell doesn't get the pen warming. I don't care if Buchholz no-hits the rest of the lineup, if a pitcher with injury concerns looks shaky, you get someone ready behind him. This is the f***ing World Series.
St Louis's stats against lefties does seem lacking. However, the problem is that Doubront hasn't started since September.
The other problem is that Doubront had a stat line of 9.77 ERA 1.98 WHIP and .311 BAA in September.
