  1. Anyone have the link for the beard smiley I keep posting to? It is on my other laptop.
  2. Bogaerts quietly hitting a nice single.
  3. Napoli did hit 2 homers and 3 2B in the Detroit series... it just happens to be the problem of having your best two hitters trying to share a position.
  4. For all the s*** Buchholz got today (from myself included) 1 R in 4 IP is solid.
  5. Time for Stephen Drew to be a hero.
  6. Whew! Nothing better than starting an inning off with an opposing team's pitcher.
  7. There are a small handful of pitchers who are capable of pitching with that kind of stress on their arms, and I agree that Lester is one of them.
  8. I can't fathom why Farrell doesn't get the pen warming. I don't care if Buchholz no-hits the rest of the lineup, if a pitcher with injury concerns looks shaky, you get someone ready behind him. This is the f***ing World Series.
  9. What was Clay's average MPH last game?
  10. I always figured you just liked the Globe.
  11. VA has been posting Boston Globe's lineup before every single game for as long as I can remember, and I doubt that'll change any time soon.
  12. Well, that game sure turned around quickly.
  13. In games David Ross has started at catcher, the Red Sox are 3-0 this postseason. He's also had a .308/.357/.462/.819 line this postseason.
  14. Agreed. It is too soon to forget that Game 2 had a deciding play happen at 3B.
  15. 12-5? Try 10-7. But, not really something worth arguing about... Just wanting to get the best mojo into these games
  16. You do realize Xander has a .250/.444/.500/.944 line in the postseason so far, right?
  17. St Louis's stats against lefties does seem lacking. However, the problem is that Doubront hasn't started since September. The other problem is that Doubront had a stat line of 9.77 ERA 1.98 WHIP and .311 BAA in September.
  18. I'm sure his ribs have become very familiar with them as well.
  19. Easy prediction: Victorino runs into a wall atleast twice.
  20. Mojo is more important than RSFFL's pride... his mojo barely broke .500 this year.
  21. YOTN's mojo was 10-4 this season. BTR's mojo might make more sense in a game 7 type situation.
  22. Who has the gamethread tonight? YOTN and J_E have had pretty good seasons.
  23. Nice throw Gomes! Glad you're in LF instead of Nava. Your defense is good enough to offset your 0-3 game. Oh wait, no it isn't.
