It has been been a trying 8 months or so for Red Sox front office alum Mike Hazen. His wife received a rough cancer diagnosis and has been undergoing treatment. As someone who will be burying his father this Thursday as a result of cancer I sure will be keeping them in my thoughts.

To Texas for a bag of bag of balls named Jeffrey Springs who will take up a spot on the 40 man. The 27 year old appeared in 25 games and got tuned up to the tune of a 6.40 ERA.
I agree but Jacksoniain is saying that the Sox were relaying real time info to runners on second. Every article I have read said the Sox relayed the info in the dugout in the event a batter reached second. If a new pitcher entered the game or they switched up signs the info was useless.
