This is kinda why you're a homer. It's beyond denial to just say you're not worried about the Sox. Sorry, this isn't the Pittsburgh Pirates trailing now by just a game in their division. You can shake a team that doesn't belong, you can't shake the Red Sox. I don't even get how you've said that you don't expect the Red Sox to make the playoffs. I could expect the Rays to make the playoffs, I could expect the Yankees or Red Sox to make the playoffs. We all know all three can't actually make it... but I fully envision any of these teams in the playoffs and couldn't pick any one right now as the team left out in the cold. And the way the Red Sox have been winning without Jacoby or a viable season yet from Beckett is amazing. Beckett is the key though.
