    Dipre's right... Jacko does always find a silver lining for Yankee players. Like, Burnett sucks. But he'll reel off a string of 9 straight starts of dominance as soon as we write him off. Kinda stuff Jacko says. Plus Jacko almost seems giddy to see the Red Sox drop off from the injuries. Before that we weren't worrying him ("least concerning Red Sox team since 2004") or Clay was due for dropoff or our offense was overachieving or we weren't making the playoffs anyway so all this doesn't matter. Something like that.

    well, you wouldn't have to be old anyway to recall the 90's/early 2000's... yeah, those days sucked. And 2006. I was born in the 80's, but don't remember that decade. anyway, let's hope this doesn't turn out to be a repeat of 2006.

    just saw this old post. give me a break. I'd appreciate what a beast at the plate Beltre has been. And Beckett was a bigger loss than Ellsbury. Less Timmy Wake starts if we had a healthy Contract Extension boy (Beckett).
