  1. He could keep this up the rest of the season if he's going to keep drawing atrocious teams like Houston and Arizona to pitch against.
  2. You'll have to be more specific, are you referring to the channel audio or the fact that Buck and McCarver spent a good few minutes trying to figure out the plural of the word "dove" on national tv?
  3. I wouldn't count Lincecum out either, but the fact is that neither one of these guys is likely to continue this pace. They could potentially end up with an ERA under 2.00 at the end of the season, heck, Greinke ended up with a 2.16 ERA last season pitching in the AL. However, assuming Halladay is relatively close to Lincecum in ERA, he'll probably have a bunch more wins as well as the benefit of playing on a big market team. I really doubt Lincecum would be picked over Halladay for CY it their stats are close.
  4. So basically it's good for a pitcher to face a team that completely sucks offensively. Shocking.
  5. Four games into the season Halladay is 4-0 with 2 CGs and a 0.82 ERA. We know he's good, but the NL is making him look like Pedro in his prime.
  6. I don't see why not. Texas is decent, but you get them at home. Baltimore is horrible so it shouldn't matter where you play them, and Toronto isn't a good team either.
  7. On the bright side, after tomorrow you guys have Texas, Baltimore, @Toronto, and @Baltimore coming up. Those should all be series wins at the very least.
  8. And you guys thought your team's offense was bad... On a side note, I find it hilarious that the Cards will have the pitcher's spot up right after Pujols for the rest of the game. He might as well go straight from the on-deck circle to 1st base.
  9. Give him Ortiz's DH spot. If that doesn't motivate Ortiz to get it together, nothing will.
  10. Really, what's the upside of running on the field in that situation?
  11. Minnesota must be pretty desperate bringing in Nathan right now after his latest debacle.
  12. Nice of the Twins to help out New York this much.
  13. To be fair, I doubt people could have predicted how dismal Ortiz would have been for a large chunk of the season, or that Daisuke would be as terrible as he was. Without the pitching injuries/implosions especially, the need for Tex wasn't really there.
  14. Until the Angels prove otherwise, I refuse to believe Boston won't win two at home and then pull one out on the West Coast.
