  1. The game as you see it is not the way others see it.
  2. Ad hominem my friend. You have a case, but.... You're not really presenting it. You're lashing out at everyone who disagrees with you.
  3. They have the right to free religion. BYU did the right thing on enforcing the honor code at their school. If you can't follow it, then you shouldn't go to school there.
  4. Yeah, people who have stronger morals than most others are really retarded. I hate them. Stupid f***in' mormons and their fancy morals that they enforce. *shakes fist at mormons* Anyways, I COMMEND them. While I disagree with the code itself, a lot, I think it's very nice to see schools don't give special treatment to certain students. J_E I agree with you that the honor code is too much, but it's their faith, their religion. You've complained on this site about preachy music, but here you are trying to preach. You just look like a hypocrite. I've had this discussion with every atheist I know, they complain about preachy religious people, or christian rock being to preachy, then they want to tell you how to believe. Seriously.
  5. Dude, Cap Anson was a huge contributor to the color barrier, he has to automatically pass up everyone on the list just for that.
  6. Idk, Miller Park I hear is pretty great, which IMO is topped by Target Field, but I'm biased.
  7. I think every Pirates fan is a closet Pirates fan.
  8. That JohnShaft guy stuck around for a while, but he sort of disappeared. He was funny.
  9. What a sexy fellow.
  10. It goes back before that, he was a butcher when he played for the Royals. I used to get psyched when he would come in to play against the Twins because I knew he'd make an error at some point. I rarely saw him play, but when he did, he always seemed to boot every play that came his way. I could very well have just seen about 10 of his worst fielding games of his career, but I've seen him totally f*** up at least 4 or 5 really easy plays.
  11. If we had most overrated defenders, I'd go with Jim Edmonds.
  12. Way too early. You could say a pretty huge part of the roster gets into the hall of fame if they keep their pace.
  13. I've never seen anyone boot as many plays as Tony Graffanino.
  14. Sounds like Mark Madsen.
  15. Well when you put it like that.
  16. Heh, okay, well good for them for not wanting to give Matt Holliday a 10 year 200 million dollar deal then.
  17. Well that sort of goes with what I said about overpaying.
  18. The bolded is at least debatable. When the Yankees have their interest in someone, they will put the largest offer on the table, there is no disputing that. Also, there is on player the Yankees cannot afford, unless it's the "overpriced" kind of expensive. The Yankees are not stupid, and most of the guys who they give big contracts to are proven. Also, it depends on what your definition of "high-priced" is, but the third one can possibly be debated as well.
