I'm not saying it will inevitably happen. Just that it might. Fister and Scherzer are alright pitchers. Nothing less, nothing more. They're no Halladay or Verndander who pitch gems game in and game out. Fister is spotty, he can go on a streak or he can just suck on any particular night.

They got maybe Fister and no one else. The Rangers won't even need good pitching. The bats will do the talking. I dont think its a stretch at all.

Ummm, who's talking about handing the best team anything? Read son. I was talking about expanding these playoffs to a best of 7 all throughout. 1, you get more chances and 2, the absolute best team would definately win on a best of 7. You wont need to rely on luck as much as you would with a chance series. (Best of 5)

Faulty asumption. Anything can happen in the playoffs. Even the most shittiest of teams can jump on you if they make it. In a short series you dont have much room for failures. If you think the best team should win in a 5 game series period, then clearly you're fooling yourself. Yankees are a better team then the Tigers, Brewers are a better team then D'backs and they backed brewers into a corner and just barely escaped with a victory to win. Phillies are also a better team then the Cards and look how this game is going. Luck has more to do then actual skills in short series.

Molina is a thug but he's a decent catcher. Actually, any catcher compare to the Red Sox's catchers are great in comparison. lol
