  1. doubt it happens but i like it alot only one thing though, why not put Figgins to lead off?
  2. like you said though Theo wont do it...
  3. Theo go for that? thats a resounding NO. but the truth is we dont need Gonzo, hed be awesome but we dont need him like we need HanRam so i say go for HanRam and find a cheaper LOW risk guy with decent power.
  4. if we go cheap on Delgado then i say we go out and pick up HanRam (we could still get Tejada as a back up inf and occaisional DH) and do we put Tazawa over Bowden in the bullpen?
  5. I like Chone Figgins but he isnt middle of the order how about Adrian Beltre? too bad Carlos Delgado is older than dinosaur s***...and please Dipre tell me this crazy-ass idea (I promise to be open minded about it)
  6. umm i think that Line up has the potential to end up having similar troubles as this years lineup, maybe not AS bad but still...
  7. i was exagerrating but spending money seems alot smarter than spending prospects if you can do it. so i guess my questions are A) what prospects do we send away (hypothetically) if we were to get Gonzo and HanRam? and B ) what corner inf. are on the FA market this off season?
  8. so HanRam and ?. who is a decent corner infield bat that can be had for quite a bit cheaper than Gonzo? what does the FA market look like for the corners? spending money is alot better than spending 95% of your prospects away for 2 positions.
  9. I can see Gonzo or HanRam but i really really really REALLY doubt we get both (hopefully its HanRam and a decent corner inf. with a nice bat)
  10. unfortunately that is too true...i miss that duo.
  11. that is a hell of a bill though...Lackey, Gonzo, AND HanRam...thats ludacris!
  12. so you spend the money on Guzman?
  13. loving all the amazingness that is this thread
  14. agreed Tito is where he belongs. does anyone know the league avg salary for a Manager?
  15. maybe right now but what of the future? and is his contract and constriction of our future options worth this upgrade? if you infact believe it is that much of an upgrade...
  16. id say its excessive but what is the league avg. price for a manager? i think its a little excessive to pay a player multi millions to catch a football but that is what the market has set as their price, we watch the games we buy the tickets we demand good players and staff therefore we pay good money to get good players and staff, Tito has 2WS rings i view those as worthy of a good salary.
  17. Im all for keeping our SS situation over getting Guzman, I think he is a very marginal upgrade if he is an upgrade at all, if we could get someone better id be all for it but Guzman brings nothing to the table IMHO. umm btw im probably stupid for asking this but what is a LDS?
  18. Im a pretty big fan of Tejada too even with his age but how much would he cost?
  19. how good is Scuturo defensively?
  20. looks like some decent names in there. I do like Tejada, Scutaro has done well and O-Cab I like.
  21. ????? :dunno: EDIT:nvm haha I think I understand what you were saying now...
  22. If it only costs us the cash and maybe a PTBNL then im down with the idea.
  23. I dont see why people dont like Francona...I think Red Sox fans are just so used to the manager position being a revolving door so they just call for his head the first chance they get just because they feel they should, Francona has won 2 WS! if we have to watch him make a handful of bad decisions now and then, I'll take it. Sox fans just need to suck it up Tito is not this teams problem.
