  6. Morrow was painting the bottom of the K zone with high 90s cheese
  7. gotta love Pedroia tha destroyah!!! too bad he couldnt go over the fence again ha
  8. wow, from what it looks like thus far its a good thing ive missed most of this series
  9. I definitely think its Greinke hands down, but my boy Halladay makes a very strong case even with his DL stint in fact he was the only true Ace i picked up in most of my fantasy leagues
  10. this sucks but it was a loseable game the next two games are more important Hell yeah KOTTARAS!!! 1 run game
  11. but what about Raul Ibanez or Zach Greinke? they have been big stories this year
  12. no it was a tying double off the monstah EDIT: sorry a little delayed response to TedWilliams101's post
  13. gotta love what Nick Green has done for us
  14. I do believe that song is about me actually, about my days back in the hood
  15. is it me or is Papi slightly faster this year? i mean i know thats not saying much but still
  16. was in the shower for the 1st half of the inning did i miss anything signifigant? nice doble for Bay good to see him connect again after those last 5 K burgers
  17. I really want want Renfroe, he looks like a Beast from everything ive seen and read plus it keeps him from going to Ole Miss (whom I hate), but he looks like he has all the tools to be an amazing SS in The Show. And BTW im pretty sure that the sox packed their draft with talent so that they could miss signing half of em and still end up with a bunch of talent coming in they never planned on signing everyone but now they can take awhile to debate who they see being worth the money
  18. i think the gap in the twos pitching is bigger than that of their position players but i think they are close in skill
  19. Gom, I havent been here long and for the short time ive been here you havent bothered me that much but this post isnt necesarry. this post was really more for nostalgia sake on the part of the sox fans it wasnt to try to rub it in any yankees fans it was just a great moment for the fans of this franchise, i didnt even really mind the debate but this post ^ hurts. i was not alive in 86 but ive seen the infamous footage too many times and the "B" word was a curse word in my house growing up so id prefer to not have links posted to remind anyone. you hurt my heart Gom and i dont know that it will heal ha:( :banned:
  20. thats the other thing i respect more than anything else are the vets that welcome the soldiers home now since they never got the welcome they deserved after Vietnam, its an honor that a 61 yr old nam vet who was crippled for life in by a land mine still feels it is his duty to serve his country like that
  21. http://imagecache5.art.com/p/LRG/10/1073/YIDV000Z/red-sox-celebration--2004-world-series-victory-over-st-louis.jpg this is what i remember that and the famous stolen base of future legend
  22. Yeah my father is a CB (an electrician for the Navy) so he actually deploys with marines alot and he has fought in both Gulf Wars and ive had a grandfather who served on a sub in WWII another one who was a pilot for the army in WWII and another who worked on helicopters in 'nam so im kind of a military brat (ironically none of them was originally happy with my decision to join)
  23. well all of us here appreciate the thanks more than you know, but frankly the closest thing to war i've ever seen was boot camp its those guys in Marine and Army infantry i respect, they deal with pure hell everyday in a lot of the places they send them, so if you know any be sure to tell them thanks whenever you can
