    Yeah, Francona said he had the same injection and it didn't do anything. But Brad Mills had the same injection and it worked miracles.

    I think he's been better across the board than he was last year. He's still improving as a young pitcher. His ERA is higher, but his BABIP is .347 and he's had some poor defense behind him. His fielding independent ERA before this start was 3.63, 0.01 points lower than it was last year.

    It's OK, we all make mistake. Some bigger than others... :harhar: I think the move will help out Pedroia as much as it will help out Drew. His approach really isn't meant for a leadoff hitter.

    I actually get a signal from Hartford too at times. It gets better the later it gets in the day, but I'm not getting it right now. They must have one GIGANTIC radio tower! Wonder what the cancer rates are like in CT.

    NICE! Francona really knows his players. The offense struggled in Atlanta so he switches the top two guys and they're having near perfect days.

    I really think Pedroia's a better hitter in the second spot. Francona said, he put too much pressure on himself to take pitches in the leadoff spot and he's more of an aggressive "see the ball, hit the ball" hitter.

    I don't think he's a stellar CF anymore. He's got great hands and good instincts but not the greatest range. Remember, UZR measures a player's range.
