I don't understand why mlb.tv lets you load/open a game half an hour early when they don't ever let you watch the networks pre-game show anyway. You get to stare at a blank screen for 30 minutes, oh boy? Anyway ... let's beat the Rays, boys. No letting them use you for base stealing practice.

I think Ortiz has said in interviews that he thinks he got used to modifying his swing cause of his wrist stuff. Sometimes hard to break bad habits later, even if you're aware of them. Even if his best days may be behind him, I think he may still surprise many by the end of the season. It's tough to watch in the meantime, tho. We'll see. Anyone watching the Oakland/Seattle game? Into the 14th inning, crazy back and forth tie scoring. I love baseball.

I think Ortiz should be moved down in the order, but not yet removed. I think he's on the decline, but I'd like to give him more time before completely putting him to pasture. Switch him with Bay or Drew or something. Don't move Youk tho, it might jinx him. *wink

Hubby has the semi-serious belief that Boston getting a "big" lead early in a game = very good chance of losing by end of game. Lately I'm beginning to think he's right.

I've been using it since early April. Bought the Premium service. I have picky eyes so the HD quality seems worth the extra bucks to me. Lags a little now and then, mostly w/the fast-pans of camera, but nothing disturbing. Usually it's fine. What I like most is I can hook the PC up to the 50" TV and it still looks pretty damn good. Not super-HD quality, but better than some of the crappier HD signal broadcasts cable likes to give you at times. The NexDef seems to have problems and sometimes isn't working, and so far it's cut out completely for a few hours a couple times but eh...I figure it's still better than not seeing the games at all (since I live in California).

mlb.tv's video feed went in the crapper for the moment. Listening to the radio feed. Guess I didn't miss much, hah. Maybe I'll do a snack/beer run and just watch the archive later.
