  1. Nick Green's twisting flexibility isn't human. As long as he keeps making plays like that, I don't mind if his bat slumps.
  2. C'mon Tek, show us that clutch hitting.
  3. Y'know, I really prefer NESN's tendency to use a wider camera angle. Stations that keep the camera tightly cropped in make me feel like I'm missing something.
  4. So I take all that to mean he's supposed to be fairly good. Curious that he'd slump in the AAA. Funny how stuff like that goes in sports. He's young, there's time I guess.
  5. LOL - CSN announced an A's "SuperCuts Buzzcut Day." HAHAHAHA that's so hilarious.
  6. So who is this Bates person again? I'm not impressed yet.
  7. At least Ortiz crossed the plate.
  8. Or take a walk, it's all good.
  9. Bring 'em on home, Ells.
  10. CSN announcers are unintentionally funny.
  11. Bay-bee we love you. Oh yes we do.
  12. Green has an arm, that's for sure. Not to mention a swivel waist.
  13. Never been to NYC, but I've always imagined that all those (downtown?) streets bordered with high rises would make me feel claustrophobic. Welcome to the board...it's a pretty cool place.
  14. Agreed. Hey team, hit the ball, score runs, and win. Or if you can't quite manage to do that, at least lose with some dignity. Last night was embarrassing.
  15. 2 more games where I have to watch CSN's broadcast. Meh. Tomorrow. Beckett. Bring it.
  16. Seems like it was a combo of things. A's pitcher having a stellar night (for him, his breaking ball was good) and our batters all imitating slow shuffling zombies.
  17. The potential comeback just became a little more epic, if it were to occur. Damnit.
  18. The name Bates forever makes me think of Psycho, hence I have a hard time taking Bates seriously. I never said I was logical.
  19. Very nice double play there.
  20. I'd like to blame today's game performance (so far) on Lugo, but I guess I can't fairly do that. ...oh screw fairness. It's all Lugo's fault.
  21. Give it a rest. You whining about the whining for multiple posts doesn't make it any better and frankly makes you seem like a whiner yourself. Me, I like that Oakland's giving a good showing, since they're one my local teams, but since they actually suck, it'd be nice if the redsox's efforts reflected it.
  22. Both the Yankees and the Rays have won their last 5. Love 'em or hate 'em, I still gotta respect both teams. Nice defensive play by Greenie...that hairy arm again.
  23. I'm trying! I don't think he'll ever be much of a sports fan tho. Most of the time he's out in the yard or working in the other room while I'm watching game.
  24. It's funny because whenever my husband is watching and Pedroia comes to the plate, he always comments that "Oh yeah, this guy...he never seems to get on base very much." Course, hubby doesn't watch every game, and I keep trying to tell him Pedroia can be awesome...but hubby's not convinced yet. HITS & RUNS & WIN PLZ.
