  1. THIS. There is nothing else.
  2. I'm thankful I missed last night's game, since they lost again. Emotion would've decreed that I break something in the house, like my computers, and I can't afford to do that at the moment. On the other hand, I was hoping if I didn't watch, they'd actually win...so much for that theory.
  3. Nice, Tek. Nice try, Lowell...considering that bad hip and all.
  4. Bay's all washed up, we should trade him. It would definitely be nice to see him get going more, again, tho. Soon.
  5. Whenever I use "we" I of course mean the team. I don't actually think I'm part of the Redsox. Using "we" is a lot easier to type. Just sayin'. Because I can, and because I'm kinda bored and babbly.
  6. I like when we take an early lead. I like it even better when we actually keep that lead. C'mon Smoltz.
  7. Hey all, dropping in to see how the cheering section is doing. The last 2 games kinda sucked...and I think the leadoff spot is just plain cursed. Maybe Ells has got it down now tho, and will produce well from the position. We can hope. Go Smoltzy, Go Team.
  8. I love Bay, and I want him to stay too. But I wish everyone (everywhere, not just baseball) was less obsessed with money. 10 million, 15 million, 20 million...how many millions does one need? Stupid macho money 'fairness' competition. Me, I'd sign with a team I wanted to play with. If Bay wanted to play w/another team for reasons of his own beyond cash, I'd be fine with it. Oh well, whatever, guess I'm old fashioned about fortunes. It makes me wonder if the lauded low-budget handling of Tampa will last very long. If they keep winning well enough, I kind of doubt it.
  9. PS - I wish Lugo luck, but I will not miss him one iota.
  10. Nice to see Lowell back. Rooting for Clay to do well.
  11. @The_Destroyah - lol....I stand corrected.
  12. Housework, bills, errands and general work aren't very relaxing, imo, but yes, I have to get back to it.
  13. Checked the game just now. I guess it's good we're not "losing", at least. From what I hear, Lester's great, Ells got ejected, the umps suck, and we can't hit for s*** tonight. That about right?
  14. Won't be posting in GT today...too much to do and I've been postponing a lot of it for too long. Heheh. So g'luck, Red Sox, and please win...pretty please with chocolate sprinkles on top.
  15. I'm going to agree w/jacksonianmarch about Ells lineup position. I've thought that many times myself, once they dropped him out of leadoff.
  16. My internet crapped out for about 3-5 minutes, I missed it.
  17. Wait I missed something. How did Youk's uniform get so dirty so fast? ....and yay, a RBI hit, go Youk.
  18. These GT's get weirder all the time, and I haven't even been here very long.
  19. I have to chatter that even if I had 10,000 posts I'd still probably never start a GT. It means nothing to me so I figure let those for whom it does do it. Besides...I'm kinda "flaky" as far as forums go. One month I might be here, one I might not...I'm an irregular regular kinda person. Anywho....WIN WIN WIN. Turn them into Royal Jelly, please.
  20. No one can be Superman all the time, but Paps sure scares me more often than not these days. But we won, so that's what counts...yay.
