    I just checked Boston.com/sports and they have a brief article that says Remy is recovering from cancer surgery. I clicked on to the link but the page could not be found. That's all I know.

    It has been reported that he felt something stealing second and later it was aggravated in the diving catch attempt. His absence is "precautionary". I got this from Rob Bradford tonight on Comcast.

    I have not heard this up til' now. If it's true, that's awful. My best friend had similar symptoms (recurring symptoms of pneumonia) and succumbed to lung cancer. Let's all hope he is O.K.

    Sure would be nice to have him back. But I for one, will not hold my breath. I don't believe the Sox will be willing to relinquish the prospects and other compensation to get him back. It would be cool, though.
