  1. As you can see Dutchy, there's a give and take here. Gom, Jacko, and other Yankee fans know what they are in for when they post. I wouldn't worry about their sensitivity. They get their shots in. On the whole, they make the site more fun. Even if they are irritants some times. It's my understanding, from what I've read, that Sox fans aren't treated as well when contributing on Yankee forums. With that in mind I'm glad I belong to a site that is more tolerant and accepting of people who's opinions differ from our own.
  2. Dutchy, meet Gom. Gom, meet Dutchy. BTW, Welcome to Talksox !
  3. That was a great moment.
  4. Yeah. 2 of 3 is pretty good when facing pretty much lights out pitching. Hat's off to Penny. He had no support today and only allowed 2 runs. Spudboy mojo ends with a thud.:thumbdown
  5. Do we pinch run Lugo for Tek here?
  6. I guess we needed pasta mojo today.
  7. Rocco. Depending on who's pitching.
  8. This game is still winnable.
  9. That was predictable. A runner on third with 1 out and no runs scored.
  10. I know it won't happen, but I'd give Ellsbury the green light here.
  11. Heads up play by Tek!
  12. Which reminds me. Can the players take anti-histamines ?
  13. I live about 11 miles from McCoy. I've seen about 2-3 dozen games there over the years. Avoid the berm seats in the outfield. For day games, stay on the left field side to avoid fighting looking into the sun. There are really no bad seats in the place, as long as you are in the main parts of the stadium. Not the berm or rf stands. The tickets are cheap so buy the most expensive one you can get a head of time. There are lots of screaming young kids because it's so cheap. Be forewarned! Parking is free, if you get there early enough. Otherwise there is a lot across the street that is cheap. The best access is from Newport Avenue (RT 1A). I forget the name of the street that goes from Newport Ave. to the stadium, but it's on any map. So, Rt. 95, Newport Ave. (Rt 1A), and go right onto that street. You're there! You should probably check-out the Pawsox website and verify the parking situation. I haven't been there in a couple of years.
  14. U.S.A. 2, Brazil 0 at the half.
  15. Is it on TV locally?
  16. Good base running there.
  17. It's only the 4th now so I'd say the Sox have a chance of scoring 2-8 runs.
  18. He has a propensity for verbal diarrhea.
  19. Yeah, Dylan never did much of significance. Like beating up Paris Hilton. He did, however, nail Joan Baez. She was babelicious at the time. By the way, Joan Baez used to work at the parts counter at the old Boston Cycles (motorcycles) store on Boylston St. in Brookline, Ma.
  20. Tek was gone on strikes there. Nice call ! Bases juiced. f*** Ellsbury!!!!!
  21. Too bad there are two outs. Ortiz did his part. Lets see what Tek can do.
  22. Hanson has looked like he has needed an I.V. since the 2nd inning. The bastard has no business being this effective in his condition.
