I just took a look at some other threads. We have some new members that are posting in some language that I am not familiar with. It's almost painful to try to read what they have typed.
I'd love to think so. But to believe that will happen now is unrealistic. He knows there is big money at stake. And so does his agent (who gets a big cut). They'll wait it out because it's sound business strategy.
I would never expect a player to dis his employers or fan base, especially during a contract year. Look at Vince Wilfork. He'll be gone if they don't pony up. Yet he says nothing but glowing things about it here.
These guys (ESPN) announcers, need to establish an on-screen identity. He is black. So why not play it up. He would be more disingenuous if he tried to sound like Howard Cosell.
But he is irritating at times. When he does it straight, he's good.
