  1. Mr. OBP. Do it!
  2. No cheerleaders here tonight. GO SOX!
  3. This is not your Father's TB Rays. f***. 1-0.
  4. So Gom, fealing better I hope?
  5. I'd love to see him in a Sox uni!
  6. Bono fortuna Sox!
  7. Gonzo pulls a Green. Nice.
  8. I'm so glad for the fellowship of Talksox!
  9. We have Egypt, Italy, and the Dominican Republic so far on the thread. Red Sox "Nation"? This is great.
  10. :D:D:D Good evening Gom.
  11. Virginia is for lovers. That is all.
  12. You have TV in the DR? WOW!
  13. Good. The "A" line-up. Hope Lester brings it tonight. He hasn't had a lot of success against the Rays recently.
  14. Welcome to Talksox.
  15. What can I say? Take a productive Ortiz, Lowell, V Mart, or Youk out of the line-up and substitute a pitcher hitting .130-160 and add that to your other guy that hits for s*** and maybe it is easier to see how a pitcher is less challenged in the NL.
  16. What inning? This sucks. Texas does have some pop.
  17. Let's hope so. Texas still has a slightly softer schedule, though. I don't think the Rays have folded. They still have plenty of talent and they have gotten this far with little out of Kazkir. Their big problem is health. I hope the Sox can take 2 of 3 or at least 1 from the Rays.
  18. All for a meager $3mil./year!
  19. The Sox are obligated to pay the balance of Penny's contract minus the prorated Veteran Minimum (which the Giants pay). One obvious difference in the NL is there is no DH. A pitcher faces another pitcher unless the opposing pitcher is pinch hit for.
  20. Moreover, they are "ghey". I've learned so many new expression here on Talksox.
  21. I know Teddy and Heidi and they have always been nice to me. Everyone in the neighborhood likes him and of course our town has embraced him as well. Teddy is respected by pretty much everyone in the NFL, local, and national media. He was a tough, smart, and hard playing ILB that lead the defense as a coach when on the field. I guess there is not much to "like" there.
