I just got back from going to the store. And, I did not see the collision. However, I have to say, what Jacko says makes sense. First off all, regardless of how you feel about him, Jacko has spent at the very least, 6-8 years studying and practicing Medical Science. Something that apparently, no other Talksox member has done.
Secondly, I have experienced similar injuries at least twice. Most recently, I was in a major auto collision where the air bag was deployed. Initial x-rays were "negative". After two weeks, my employer wanted verification of my injuries as I was about to enter into "disability". New x-rays showed a fracture of the sternum and two "soft ribs". And, I had pneumonia from taking shallow breaths for two weeks. There are other complications from such injuries. But they are really gross.
Maybe Ells is lucky and will be back on the field sometime soon. But if he sustained damage anywhere like I did, be thankful Hermida was signed.
