    Excellent post. JD looked foolish on that play. He looks foolish several time a week out there in left. Manny made himself into a decent left fielder in Fenway in MY OPINION. Maybe JD can do the same over the next few years.

    He's a f***ing hack in the field and his running is not what we saw last year before the knee problems. But when he does hit I tend to forget about his failings. He needs to hit more.

    Yup. And to be clear, people like Kimmi and myself who have lobbied for additional MiLB pitching depth did so not because we suspected Johnson and Velazquez would perform poorly. We just have felt that history has shown that even more depth is needed. I ma confident that DD knew this and was looking for the right guys to sign for this role and did not find them.

    I can't speak to his fitness level. He may be in excellent shape but his shape is bloated by that Perelli he is carrying. Just look at the photo of him being removed from the game. He looks like Cool Hand Luke.

    "Maxi-pad". Lol. I like that. It reminds me of a joke I heard on You Tube last night. Two vampires go into a bar. The first one orders a Bloody Mary. The second one orders a cup of boiling water. The first one says to the second one "Whats up? Why did you order a cup of boiling water?" The second one pulls a used tampon from his pocket and says "I'm making tea".

    Wow. I would still like to go there to see a game. Everyone I know who has been there says that stadium is the balls. Besides, I like Soft Shell Crabs! I can taste the Lump Crab as we speak!

    What is a UZR Engine? How is each play monitored and how is this data compiled and collected? I still don't get it.
