It's all speculation until he either signs or returns to school.
I haven't heard anything about the subject in about two weeks. However, the Boston media was all over this subject during his brief stint in the Cape Cod League. About two weeks before he quit (great strategy by Boris as he was about to start seeing batters that had adjusted to wooden bats), the local (Cape/Boston) media were reporting that He was planning on returning to school because he believed he had let his team down and wanted some redemption and a shot at a National title. This was all supported by quotes from his Father, friends, coaches, and scouts.
So that is the rumor. So to speak. I believe that it's all just Boris posturing. The time to grab the money is now. Yeah, they want top ten money. But there are no assurances that he will be either healthy or one of the top ten draftees next year. There is a good chance of it, but it can't be over looked that he has definite value now. Boris knows this. He want's money now, as any good agent would. I say it gets done. If not, f*** the greedy little bastard.
