  1. Yes very near the end of the presser and his answer was no, not at all. Lying prick! I just about spit my water all over my keyboard when he said it.
  2. I never watch those d bags.
  3. That is kind of an odd example, though. Maybe he could learn a sac bunt but why? He is a power hitter that should be hitting seeds for 2 bags. Also, he has no speed to try to get to first in time not to be out. Not busting your balls Bud. I see your point.
  4. Gee thanks once again for spending your valuable time researching this vital information and proving someone wrong. Well done.
  5. That is good news. Meanwhile the dark clouds continue to accumulate 35 miles south west of Fenway.
  6. Yeah I said Casas sucks. Right.
  7. Yeah that's the guy. I just heard a good interview with Casas on Brastool. That kid is not lacking for confidence and is funny as f***.
  8. Lol. You got that right oh bearded one! A .211 average over 9 years in MiLB ball is scary.
  9. Thanks for the clarification. I now understand that one year of "decent offensive numbers" equals "hit at all levels". It's amazing how much there is to learn about my favorite game.
  10. Yeah I get that Doc. I saw clips of him and his swing looks long. He has mashed high school pitchers. I just wonder if he will be able to catch up with MLB heat. How many high school pitchers threw 94-100 to him? Of course I am just speculating. I was concerned about Jason Tatum being quick enough for his first move to be effective in the NBA. Obviously my concern was misplaced!
  11. Hmmm. "Butler has hit at lower levels" Yeah. I guess that somehow I imagined this statement.
  12. I am hoping that rain does not interfere with the game tonight. It would be a shame to call this kid up only to burn an option if the game is postponed.
  13. So you recommend that I ignore the entire Boston sports media? Good plan.
  14. Casas has a long swing. Otherwise I don't see anything remarkable about him. What is the name of the hippy 1st baseman the Sox coddled for several years? I can see this kid ending up bust as well.
  15. I have been to no games. I have seen all of his games on TV. While it is next to impossible to see and evaluate his reeds and breaks, every other aspect of his left field play has been fine. While he digs hard for every ball he does not have the speed of Beni or some other left fielders. I don't see this as a big problem overall. I don't see the deficiencies that our resident stat geeks make him a defensive liability.
  16. Ignore the infection. You have been here since 2009.
  17. Yeah nah they wasted 13 mil over 2 years!!!!1!!1 What was DD thinking?
  18. Yeah 31 years old, 9 years of MiLB ball with a .211 BA. Yeah, he's ready.
  19. No s***. Org depth. That's all.
  20. Gee. I've never seen that video clip.
  21. I like how the first thing the Boston media mentions about Beeks is how he is undersized a 5'11".
  22. If he does not have a major injury he will be back.
