  1. And he was married to Wendy Nix. Poking her has to count for something!
  2. Lin has been called up and will be in New York Saturday.
  3. Oye. 3 dingers in 4 games and it's Hanley bag lapping time. He is paid 22 million dollars a year. He hits .250. He may have 25-30 HR this year. Yeah. Bargain. Big time. Sloth.
  4. Hahahahahahahahahaha!11!!!1
  5. Denny McClain.
  6. And both were articulate!
  7. Or if a Yankee drills his shoulder into the ground.
  8. Not that I disagree with what you have said. But where is the indignation because of your character assassination? How dare you condemn Fatboy Pablow? But call CC a fat piece of s***? Again, so I am clear, I support your post.
  9. I voiced a similar opinion a couple of weeks ago. It's good for the game.
  10. He got a really good shot in on Joey. I still laugh when I see that or think of it.
  11. And the idiot Sox are paying for it. Thanks Ben.
  12. And he did not cheap shot anyone. He was just defending himself.
  13. Who do the Yankees have that would be a match in a trade for Stanton? If some team is bound to snag him, there are only a handful who can pay the tariff. The Yankees would do this in a blink of an eye.
  14. He was out by a mile.
  15. I'm all for aggressive base running as long as it is smart base running. Not sure I saw both there.
  16. I did not say that the play was an automatic out. That was a play that could have been made regardless of his momentum. The kid has a lousy arm. Period.
  17. So I was watching the Pats game and decided to check in on the Sox game. Castro loops a ball into right that Betts tries for. He does not get it but I have no problem with the attempt as he makes those plays a lot. Bennie is in position to back him up. But then he makes a throw to second that is 20 or so off the bag to the center - left side allowing Castro to slide into second safely. There was a chance at a put out if the throw was strong and accurate. Not sure defensive metrics account for such failures.
  18. Lol. See my post.
  19. He did have a positive impact. I liked him. Plus that is one great name.
  20. Lol. Now I can't even remember that conversation!
  21. I see that you are making more friends.
  22. Just a nice little story from Pete Abraham. Peter Abraham 1 hr · NEW YORK — The subway is the fastest way to get around New York, especially if you’re staying at one of the hotels in midtown and need to get to the Bronx for a baseball game. The 4 train stops at 161st Street and Yankee Stadium is a few steps away. As passengers left the platform at 2:55 p.m. on Thursday, there was a holdup on the grimy stairs heading down to the street. A young woman with a baby carriage was trying to make her way down the steps and people were maneuvering their way around her. It was slow going until a tall man in jeans and a dark blue golf shirt stopped to help. He lifted up the front of the carriage and helped her get to the street. “Thank you, sir,” she said to the good samaritan. “No problem,” said the man, who then darted across the street toward an entrance to the Stadium. But two teenagers stopped him first to ask for an autograph. After all, it’s not every day you see Chris Sale on 161st Street.
  23. Since you are in Texas would that be Texas Toast? Since you are in Texas you should be quoting Ann Richards. "Stick a fork in 'em".
