  1. Not much of this post makes much sense to me. Just one obvious point. The CBS or other network coverage of the Pats ( as well as other teams ) is done by a national crew with no alliance to the Patriot organization. I don't see how that makes them partial to the Pats at all. You are clearly misinformed somehow. I have spent many years watching broadcasts of many sporting events. Over five decades. There are homers on local affiliates like NESN and others ( WBZ in Boston is another as example ). Most of the time national broadcasts are impartial. That is why when I see clear bag lapping from any national network it is very obvious. Last night was a clear example to anyone with a brain that was paying attention. Had ESPN been so biased toward the Sox I would have said so and would have been embarrassed by it. The ESPN Sunday night crew suck big donkey dicks in my opinion.
  2. I think that she was some kind of big-time softball player. Not sure. I just don't see how that experience translates to expertise in MLB baseball. ESPN had a great annalist in Curt Shilling who was replaced by this woman. Too bad he could not keep out of trouble in social media because he was very, very good at his job. And I would offer that he knows at least a little more about baseball than mole face Moran. ESPN went from a good broadcast to a really s***** one. Sad.
  3. Maybe but he's a twat too. The play by play guy is annoying as well. Sometimes they have that fat guy doing play by play and he is less offensive. Overall they do a poor job of being objective, informative, and entertaining. They just suck.
  4. That unibrowed twat annoys me no end. ESPN games are the worst. Especially when it's a Yankee or Cards game. All they do is bag lap those two teams.
  5. I will add that there is nothing intangible about a throw from left field to second base that is caught by the catcher behind the right field line and in front of the dugout.
  6. My question now is are the "under performances" of guys like Betts the norm going forward or are these guys just having an off year? I get that the Sox are in 1st place and probably going to the playoffs. That's just pissah. I think this offense is very flawed and will fall on it's face in the post season.
  7. It's apparent that your Mom did not breast feed you otherwise you could defend a point in a coherent manner. Now run along and take your Ron Jeremy pills.
  8. I disagree with plenty of people on this board. I don't wish for them to be banned. We have some Yankee fans that are good posters. You are not one of them. You are here to troll and as such you will be banned. Maybe not this moment. But soon.
  9. Yeah but you have an IQ in triple digits.
  10. This has nothing to do with being a homer. I have nothing against metrics based on empirical data. I will state once again that I do have something against people trying to force feed me their opinions based on what they claim to have read that others wrote. Further, I detest those who insist that they alone are correct because they scoured BBR or a like site. As if that makes them an authority. And please don't say that I don't understand metrics. That is just stupid and trumpish.
  11. I understand. But I was looking forward to you going all Warf on his ass.
  12. Break out the banhammer please. This guy has yet to make a solid post.
  13. Or maybe call into question the validity of those metrics as an accurate tool to assess a player.
  14. lulz. Now we need a gif of A-roid standing on second base doing his best Peyton Manning "who me?" impression.
  15. Your purpose is clear. You are a Yankee troll just trying to get a rise out of Sox fans. Go back to chanting Bengazi and e-mails.
  16. boom!!!1!!
  17. Post of the day.
  18. I agree.
  19. Who the hell needs metrics to know that Beni is not that great a defensive player? To say that the metrics indicate that Beni is pretty good is just blind faith in others. Dumb.
  20. Now that's the spirit!
  21. f***ing hell the entire world is being pussyfied!
  22. It's interesting that when I mentioned that Beni had defensive deficiencies a couple of months ago I was bashed. Now everyone is talking about it. Lol.
  23. I would love to see Stanton play for the Sox but the numbers just don't work.
