Granted, there's a difference between putting someone listed as PF/C as Center, vs. putting someone that's solely at PF at Center.

I figured that people weren't picking him for a reason. Dirk was projected to be the 4th best fantasy player (granted, it doesn't factor in money and it's this year, not in 3 years), but I figured that age and salary would be impediments, in addition to the fact that I really want another guy that I hope makes it back to me. Not to mention the fact that Dirk is one of the players in the NBA that I hate the most (being a Spurs fan)

Yeah, normally I'd be uncomfortable about it, but since he made a pick that should have been obvious that he was taken, and since he's no longer online and you are, and since it's later in the draft and his team clearly isn't competing, might as well go for it.

Me too, but I went with someone that I didn't think would make it back to me. Granted, that strategy bit me in the a** when I chose Steve Smith (CAR) instead of Osi Umenyiora, so hopefully it won't happen again this time.

It had been much longer for guys like myself, RSFFL, and Kilo since we were on the end of the chart that picked now, meaning that our previous picks were well before yours. That said, by my (rough) calculations, there were 3 or so people that needed to make up picks from this past round.
