    Derrick Lowe was an adequate closer. It was scary at times, but adequate. You don't need an all star to get 35 saves.

The only loss was Paps. Closers are overrated.

    Running a baseball team isn't thesame as a fantasy roster. Sometimes it's more than just numbers. Beckett and Lackeyclearly had a negative impact on Lester last year.

    I was onboard with trading him in the offseason. He'll never have an ERA as low as last year again. Sometimes changing the culture is necessary.

    Living in LA, my wife would wonder how people could afford overpriced imported cars, $750K mortgages, eating out 365 days a year, all while making what we did. It's called being up to your ears in debt. It's definitely a different world over there. It's all for show.

    SBF, it's ironic that you've chosen a Red Sox coffin, because this team will put you in the grave if you can't learn to relax a bit. Are there times when it's appropriate to be pissedoff? Of course, but not every single day. Getting pissed off about meaningless s*** is a one way ticket to a heart attack. It's not worth it.

    There's a difference between being passionate and crazed. Where's the enjoyment in ALWAYS being pissed off and angry about the Red Sox? Will they win the WS every year? No. Is it possible to enjoy a season if they don't winit all? Yes.

    Nah, I'd most likely buy a new 360 instead. Xbox - red ring (replaced) 360 - red ring (never replaced) PS3 - harddrive fail (paper weight) I just have s*** luck.

    It just plays into the need to be angry about anything involving the Red Sox. I'd rather just enjoy life than revel in misery and expect the worst around every corner.

    Yeah, he has potential to be better than Punto, much more upside anyway. I doubt anyone sees him as more than roster filler.

    A minor league contract "often" leads to becoming 25th man on the roster. What's the definition of often, 5-10%? Face it, you were wrong. If someone gets dinged up, the Sox shouldn't run straight to the media. What do they gain by disclosing every player's injuries? All it would do is to increase your blood pressure.

    He got fired from the Sox in 09 for selling steroids. He's an admitted user amd the were doing a twitter "#askremy" segment during the game. The real questions were "what's you favorite sox memory?" Now "how can I get a stache like yours and how will the sox do this year."

    How is a SP with a 6 ERA in 2011, good for the team? I want the best pitchers pitching the most innings. Cook would be the low man on the totem pole. Garbage time at best.
