    Because of 4 players, 2 of whom were on a downward spiral, Duke gets credit for 07? I'm sticking with no. He deserves 25-40% credit for 04, but barely a blip for 07.

    People didn't get banned for being negative, they got banned for being dicks to "optimists." I've posted less because I'm a lot busier now than I was a few months ago. When I have downtime at night, it's more enjoyable to go out back, start a fire in the fire pit, drink a beer and relax than post on here.

    Ellsbury is 28. Age doesn't have anything to do with his drop in performance. He'll still be in the prime of his career for the next 4 years.

    I was stuck in traffic next to Manny outside of Fenway right after a game. He must have left really quick. He wasn't wearing a uni though.

    They don't go after Bobby to be proven right, they go after him because he provides tremendous quotes and is the only interesting part of the Sox right now.

    You said it was foolish to hire him. I said it couldn't have been that foolish if they won two rings with him on board after an 86 year drought. I never said anything about having him in the FO going forward. You said it was foolish. It clearly wasn't because it worked out.
