    Not for nothing, but Brock Holt has a 1303 OPS against LHP. He plays decently in LF too. Honestly, Beni not hitting LHP isn't in my top 10 of issues with the Sox.

    Only 22% of his AB's are against LHP. He currently has a 968 OPS against RHP. That would look great paired with a platoon guy that could hit lefties. He's also just straight up mashing at Home 1143 OPS vs 645 away, which indicates SSS alert.

    No, when you include the fact that the Sox had to give up a good number of signed international prospects AND not be able to sign anyone for a year, he can't get an A. Sorry.

    Nunez is a good defensive OFer. I'd rather not have him in the IF very often. Holt is ok at 2b or SS, but better as a corner OF.

    882 OPS since May 20th. When he has his hot streaks, his HR total usually climbs. Hasn't happened so far.

    I think he definitely has the tools to be able to hit LHP. I just don't know how patient the Sox can be after this year.

    He's gone on 30 day tears every year since 2015. He's probably due for another sooner than later.

I think there's a good chance that if they'll decide between JBJ and Beni in the offseason and grab a right handed platoon to use with the guy they keep (prob Beni).

    Well, I'm glad that the GM and the manager are communicating. I don't believe that was the case with Farrell.

    This is just too funny for me. The GM that BROKE THE RULES AND GOT THE TEAM SANCTIONED TO THE POINT WHERE THEY COULDN'T MAKE INTERNATIONALS was strong at international signings. Thanks Ben!

    Difference being that Holt and Nunez have extensive IF/OF experience. Swihart has been bench fodder so far.

    The biggest problem is the newer ump equipment. They should go back to having those oversized protectors they had back in the day. They don’t get good positioning on the outside pitches anymore.
