    I'm not saying it's a sure thing, I'm just saying it's a possiblity. Benintendi was drafted in 2015 and playing Boston in 2016. It can happen quickly.

    I think Richards would be the first to be bumped out of the rotation.

    Devers hit 773 in Low A in 2015. He was up in Boston in 2017. If Yorke is promoted this year and continues to rake, I could see him start next year in Portland. If he hits well there, he could be called up to Boston at any point. Right now, Downs is struggling. It's not unreasonable to believe he could struggle next year too.

    A high reward guy like that should be pushed as fast as he's able to be pushed. If he's up in POR mashing next year and Downs is still struggling in AAA, does Yorke make it to the bigs before Downs?

    Yorke May OPS 483 June OPS 953 July OPS 1015 He was one of those guys that hadn't played a meaningful game in a long time due to injury and COVID. It's not surprising that he started off slow, but he's really kicked it into high gear.
