  1. Wikelman Gonzalez will definitely make it to Portland. Jacob Webb is a maybe.
  2. Smart lady. She had her eyes on the prize.
  3. Did the Sox have an opt out?
  4. Why did he need to reset for 3 years?
  5. Hill vs Giolito
  6. @MLBPipeline No. 11 @RedSox prospect Jay Groome today: 6 IP 1 R 0 ER 9 K's
  7. @SoxProspects Transactions: Worcester added RHRP Frank German from Portland. Portland placed LHSP Kyle Hart on the 7-day IL. Portland activated LHRP Rio Gomez from the 7-day IL.
  8. I don't deny that arguments like that have merit.
  9. @SmittyOnMLB Boston Red Sox injuries: Top prospect Marcelo Mayer has sprained wrist, Triston Casas placed on Worcester’s IL Mayer has only played in 4 games in the past month due to the wrist issue. Casas has an ankle injury, but could return this weekend. Seabold has also been shutdown with a pectoral strain.
  10. Benintendi is closer offensively to a slow footed Biggio.
  11. It's "rose colored glasses" you f***ing moron.
  12. Ah yes, the old "if you don't agree with me, you are a pink hat" nonsense. More of that smart, well thought out posting we know and love.
  13. Not even close. Boggs hit lots of doubles.
  14. Having players like Mookie, Xander and Raffy in your organization and not keeping them around for their entire careers is just bad business IMO. Maybe I'll be wrong in the long run, but I don't see it that way. Mookie is athletic as hell and should age well into his 30's. Xander can move off SS when you need him too. Devers has improved his D at 3b and could be there another 5-6 years easy. These players just don't come around all that often. We should build around them rather then ship them off.
  15. Nope. 5/24/22: 43 wRC+, 1HR, 486 OPS 5/24/21: 79 wRC+, 5HR, 699 OPS It's not even close to the same thing.
  16. That's a big IF with Dalbec. He's gone 115+ PA's without a HR. He looks really terrible this year. More likely he's spending his summer further down the Mass Pike.
  17. Listed on Baseball America's Hot Sheet: @redsoxstats Red Sox well represented ($) Matthew Lugo 10-20, 5 R, 3 2B, 3 3B, 1 HR Ceddanne Rafaela 11-26, 9 R, 3 2B, 2 3B, 2 HR Brayan Bello 6 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 10 SO
  18. I guess. It doesn't seem like his primary position this year will be LF though. We'll have to see what the alignment ends up being.
  19. That's fine. I like that his k rate is down and his bb rate is up. His barrel rate almost triple what it was last season. His XSLG is .566. He has a 48.8 hard hit%. He's playing just fine this year if you ignore his defense. He's basically hitting the way you want JBJ to hit.
  20. Benintendi this year: .329 AVG! 49 H! 41 1B. 4 2B. 2 3B. 2 2B. 84% of his hits are singles Dude needs to do some pushups.
  21. Yankees aren't going to end the season with a .700 winning percentage. However, I don't think the Sox need to necessarily worry about the division or even playoff positioning right now. They just need to right themselves.
  22. @redsoxstats The Red Sox offense has gone from 28th in April to 3rd in May
  23. Updated MLB Pipeline: @SoxProspects ⬆️Marcelo Mayer- 10 ⬆️Triston Casas- 14 ⬆️Nick Yorke- 52 ⬆️Brayan Bello- 84
  24. @Jared_Carrabis The Red Sox have the best record in baseball since Alex Cora shaved his beard on May 10.
  25. Barnes has pitched better this year than Robles.
