  1. Well but the option is not Teahen unfortunately. Again, i'd rather go for LaRoche and have Youk at 3rd full time.
  2. Lol i'm 6'1 and 250, my friends call me Big Papi lite, so you have it good.
  3. Just so you know, i wear size 13 1/2. So don't make fun of big feet, sir.
  4. Bat Varitek 4th. Now!
  5. It had to become a punchline sooner or later.
  6. Sarcasm, my friend. Gotta learn to recognize it already.
  7. WTF Youk? Stop the suck man!
  8. Stop!, (scrub) Hammer time!
  9. Please, no bases loaded suck.
  10. Bay got him alright, lol.
  11. Lol you don't suck. You're just a lousy driver, just like me.
  12. :dunno:
  13. You're seriously voting? The vote from Dutchy was a joke. And this isn't Survivor to be voting people off the board.
  14. CTRL + F. They made it for a reason.
  15. Clearly trying to avoid a shitstorm.
  16. Anyways, Doiji, let us leave the baiters aside and continue baseball discussion. I'm thinking the Sox should wait a couple more days and see how the market finishes shaping up. How some of the almost-contending teams do in the following days might make a couple more players available and improve the Sox's chances of landing a more versatile and well-rounded (albeit probably more expensive) option.
  17. Again, i'm all for getting someone to shore up the bench, but we need someone who can both hit worth his weight, and have solid defense. The reason why i'm not trusting Teahen at all is not only his horrible defense at 3rd, but also the fact that the .347 OBP he's sporting is very much supported by his .292 BA, but he has a .344 BABIP, and that is unsustainable for someone who has a nearly 3-1 (67-27) K/BB ratio. In other words, there are more versatile options, maybe not better hitters, but definitely better defenders.
  18. Why are we mentioning Bailey again? As far as i'm concerned, Kotsay and Lowrie were depth for 1b/3b. If you don't like that, then i honestly have nothing else to say to you.
  19. Something meaningful is waiting to see how will the walking wounded react instead of going out and bringing 200+ pounds of FAIL in Mark Teahen. And i do believe there are better options, specially defensively, since you keep bragging about Teahen's defense in the OF, well, let's check his UZR/150 at 3B, which is the position we're primarily looking at here: 2005: -17.6 2006: 0.4 2007 2008: -23.9 2009: -9.2 I NEED to snark if you keep knobgobbling a player but haven't taken the time to check out his actual value for us, which defensively, is nearly ZERO. We'd be better finding a decent 1B who can somewhat hit even if he is a bit more expensive. Hell, contrary to a previous joke i made, i'm all for Adam LaRoche instead of Mark Teahen. We don't need Teahen to play the OF, even though he's decent in right, we need him to play 3rd, since he doesn't have the offense to justify playing 1st. So, if he's awful at 3rd base, why the f*** would we acquire him? If you don't want people snarking at you, do your research, AND STOP SAYING THE SAME THING OVER 400 POSTS. And good day to you, sir.
  20. Yes, and Mark Teahen is definitely at the top of the heap when it comes to 3B excellence.
