    The reason is simple, Bard's mechanics are nearly flawless. His delivery is easy and repeatable, and his arm slot easy to find, helping him maintain his stuff better when he's tired, if he had a high-maintenance delivery like Joba, he might throw 103.

    I watch about 90% of Red Sox games, and every Yankee game that doesn't fall within the same schedule, of course. If you knew some of the stuff i pick up about Yankee pitchers, you'd find out how incompetent the trainers for that pitching staff really are. Either that, or a lot of Yankee pitchers have really hard heads.

    I've a pretty keen eye for pitching mechanics because i know a couple people who make a living out of developing ballplayers and have taught me the finer points of pitching and hitting as well.
