It actually is. The O's actually have more homers than the Sox, only 2 behind of the Yanks. HR team + NYS + Pettite usually = Homers galore.

Bard's mechanics as a whole were always solid, what they tinkered with was the arm slot, and there's nothing more difficult for a pitcher than adopting a new arm slot.

Never hit .300. His .295 is based upon a .335+ BABIP, and for a guy with that little patience and who's a bit prone to striking out, that is unsustainable.

It's a photoshop of The Rock from Walking Tall with JD Drew's face. It's great because the Photoshop is so bad and his arms look like fell asleep at the beach with a shadow over his face while the rest of his body tanned.

He was the 2B i was targeting as soon as the draft started, but i didn't take him because he was playing through and injury (again) and i was like, "Will he ever get healthy?". Such a waste of natural talent.

I got a little pissed at myself for Ryan Ludwick, but he's starting to hit, and he should be good value, but maybe i s*** the bed anyway.

Batting leadoff in the majors is much more complicated than people think. Team-first mentality can really hurt a guy's numbers in the 1 spot. Lead-off hitters need to be a bit selfish and go for the hit instead of the walk a lot of them time, and that's why guys like Drew and Pedey are not suited to bat 1st on a regular basis, Youk is a different beast because his batting eye is superior and his contact skills near Pedey level, but over the long run, it might be a better idea to try Ells or Lowrie at leadoff for the time being.

Drew has altered his approach while hitting leadoff, IMHO, he's trying too hard to get on base via walks instead of driving the ball on hitter's counts like he usually does.
