I highly doubt that. Teixeira alone could not have carried this offense the two times this year it has really slumped. And about the Yanks having a lesser player at 1st, that's conjecture, since they could have swung a deal for someone.

Baldelli's done his job, so has RR, Penny has about done what you could expect from him, Saito has also done his job. The only one who looks like a bed-s***ing is Smoltz. Still, Wake's and Dice-K's injuries are not Theo's fault.
