I never suggested we get rid of him, he's a highly useful part. What i stated was that he shouldn't be this team's starting 1B.

If he can get back to Angels form, then fine. But he'll have a chance to prove himself from here on. If he sucks, he won't get a chance next season.

If you mean for this season, playing Kotchman at first is more a necessity than an option.

You do know that we already have a 1B who is better both offensively and defensively than Casey Kotchman. His name is Kevin Youkilis. It'd be better if we kept Youk at and got a good glove/better than Kotchman bat 3B.
