  1. .310/.400/.550 by the end of May. Book it.
  2. You're still holding out hope for Lowrie? Gotta say, i admire your positive thinking.
  3. Jesus Christ.
  4. To be expected.
  5. About the pitchers: http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1052/1300180300_c77401d86c_o.jpg 2-2, 2.19 ERA. Clay Bucholz: Buchholz got the win -- and a save, so to speak -- on Tuesday against the Blue Jays, going a strong eight innings in a 2-1 game and, in the process, giving a depleted bullpen a needed rest. He threw a career-high 117 pitches (80 of them for strikes), allowed seven hits, two walks and a first-inning run and struck out four. Despite the pitch count, he said he still felt strong at the end. Buchholz lost his previous two starts. He allowed three runs on six hits and one walk while striking out 10 in 6 2/3 innings against the Rangers on April 22 when he made 114 pitches. He allowed four unearned runs in a loss to the Rays on April 17 when he pitched five innings, allowing three hits and striking out seven. http://www.mattspenandpaperheroes.com/scans/Joe-Saunders.gif 1-4, 5.74 ERA. Joe Saunders: No longer Mr. April after the worst start of his career, Saunders is hoping a return to the road and Fenway Park, where he has done some of his best work, brings a return to form after two disappointing outings at Angel Stadium. He yielded a total of eight earned runs in 7 2/3 innings in losses to the Tigers and Guardians. He was fortunate to hold the Tribe to three runs on nine hits and three walks across five innings on Tuesday night, getting double plays to end three innings. Saunders is 26-10 with a 3.86 career ERA on the road, and he's 3-0, 2.84 in four starts in Boston. He's 4-1, 3.24 overall in eight lifetime outings against the Red Sox. "Back when they were in the Minors" Mojo also in full effect.
  6. Bucholz Vs Saunders. "It's early May" mojo in full effect. Win!
  7. It's so easy to make meaningful, thought-out posts instead of stirring up s***.
  8. Well done Papelbon.
  9. That strike three call was absolutely horrible indeed. Time to break out the Ques-Tec machines.
  10. Not a good matchup in this situation.
  11. JD Drew is awesome.
  12. In the second inning, he threw fifteen pitches, and four of them were changeups. There were entire outings last year in which he wouldn't (According to Gameday) throw more than two or three changeups.
  13. Something i've noticed since the beginning of the season (with the aid of Gameday) what's with Beckett and all the changeups?
  14. I was probably wrong in thinking Tito's mismanaging Varitek. He looks fresh, his swing is level and he's generating lots of power.
  15. Pretty self-explanatory if you ask me.
  16. To be expected.
  17. Well put. The whining and bitching and moaning is annoying as f***. "WAAAAAAAAAAAH THIS TEAM SUCKS" "WAAAAAAAAAAAH THIS FO DOESN'T CARE ABOUT WINNING, ONLY MAKING MONEY" "WAAAAAAAAAAAH THIS TEAM CAN'T HIT, I WANT JASON BAY BACK" "WAAAAAAAAAAH I WON'T WATCH THE GAMES 'CAUSE THEY'RE LOSING" "WAAAAAAAAAAH BELTRE, CAMERON, SCUTARO, ORTIZ, DREW, THEY ALL SUCK, f*** THIS TEAM". Jesus Christ, be a f***ing fan. You're allowed to bitch because the team is sucking but the negativity and knee-jerking grow tired quickly.
  18. "Josh Beckett has his binky" mojo under full effect.
  19. I have no messages. Please send a regular trade proposal.
