In the second inning, he threw fifteen pitches, and four of them were changeups. There were entire outings last year in which he wouldn't (According to Gameday) throw more than two or three changeups.

Something i've noticed since the beginning of the season (with the aid of Gameday) what's with Beckett and all the changeups?

I was probably wrong in thinking Tito's mismanaging Varitek. He looks fresh, his swing is level and he's generating lots of power.
